A good book for kids. Children 7-11 will like it. This book is good for boys and girls.

Hank is a cow dog that lives on a ranchand one day there was a funny looking truck that went by the ranch. Hank as head of sucurity at the ranch went to investigate. There was a monkey in the truck. The truck hit the cattlep- guard and the monkey flew out the back of the truck. Hank had to find a way to get rid of the monkey.

Times are difficult on the ranch so Slim decides to leave and find a new job. Hank & Drover see an opportunity to go for a ride and jump in Slim's pick-up...no knowing that Slim doesn't plan to come back. Can't reveal the ending, but this one will entertain you as all of the series does. John Erickson does it again.

Hank the Cowdog doesn't like cats until he meets the haystack kitties. Hank also finds himself in a runway truck!! Through his adventure Hank runs into a bull named Crash, but thanks to the kittens Hank was spared!!!

This book would be good for 3rd and 4th graders who like funny stores with dogs. I thought it was a great book it was really funny book. It's a really exiting book because you never know what will happen next. There is a funny little boy who is trying to take care of uncle when his uncle gets sick. It's a great book for the whole family.

This amazing book is about two cowdogs, a family of four, and a cowboy named Slim. Hank seems to get in a lot of troublem, but it looks like nothing will get hem out of it this time. Slim's sick in bed , Alfred's destroying the house, Drover is liying in the utility room, and Hank can't do anythang about it.
To methis book has thrills,cills,and more action than you can stick on a tooth pick. This book is great for the family.

I thought this book was okay. It wasn't my favorite but it was good. It first starts our kind of boring but when a cat named Pete gets in the story it's a different story. He gets Hank and his assistant Dover in a mess when he told them something. The coyotes in the pasture get very hungry. They get in even more trouble then. It's starts with the Ha-Ha game. Oh you should try the Ha-Ha game.

If you're in the mood for humor, just read the Hank the Cowdog books. He thinks he's so smart, but he is not. Drover is probably about just as smart as Hank. I love reading Hank, I've read almost all his books, and own a lot of them. You definitely need to start reading Hank!

I'm 10 years old and I thoutht it was great. I think that it was hillarious. Especially the part when Hank and Drover trick the coyote brothers in a Ha Ha game.

Usually the Hank books are delightful for all ages, so I was very disappointed with this latest book. THE SADDLEHOUSE MYSTERY seemed a bit disjointed, as we jumped from wierd Jake looking for Madagascar to the saddle thief. It would have been better if Little Alfred had been included in the story, as those stories tend to be the most endearing and interesting.

This book was as good as any other hank book. Like with any good book I suggest u read it.
