A great Book
I read the mystery of Pony Hollow when i was in grade 3. It was one of the first books that i'd ever read. This book will hold your attention till the very end. You'll fall in love with Panda (the horse) and all the history of mining ponies. Also the mystery of one horse named Oberon will make you wonder at first if he's still alive.

Ride a Dark Horse Review
Gusty McCaw finds herself ripped free from everything she has ever known. Stumbling across a shady conspiracy at her stable, our heroine finds herself framed for a crime and hunted. She stumbles blindly into a circle of theft, shady horse switching, blackmail, and murder. One of the best novels I have ever read, both as an avid horse lover and as a mystery reader.

This is a really good book
This book is really great. It is halarious and I would recomend this book to people. It is a journey through a dogs life, since you could probably follow a real dog and watch his very move. This is as close as you could probably get.

An exciting Book for Everyone!!!
"Danger Dog" was a great book. It's about a kid named David who lost his dog when he was 5 years old. Later in life he gets a dog named Max. Max was attack trained, but David didn't want Max for protection, he wanted Max to fill in his memory of Corky. Max was going to die because he bit someone and had the one bite penalty because he bit a guy. David wins Max over with love and hope. You'll have to read this exciting book to find out what happens!

Sad but very beautiful!!
Kurland's talent is brightly shown in this book. The storyline is simply..., a little bit sad but very beautiful. Forced by a simple knightly promise to his bestfriend, Christopher of Blackmour, a mighty warrior with a very sad secret himself, unwillingly married to a common and unwanted girl, Gillian of Warwick. The story continued by telling how two wounded hearts helped each other to realized and learned the meaning of true love. Unlike other Romance novels, two main characters are not flawless. They also were not attracted to each other by external appearances but their true beauty within. And of course.. with dangerous sword fighting scenes and a bad, cruel guy to get rid of, the story is spiced up to a point where, once started, you don't even want to put it down!!... Lynn Kurland did an excellent job on this book to make it worth more than just a simple historical romance. This book is really "All I ask" !! Recommended..
A hero for a change
I love all of Lynn Kurland's books(except maybe for "Another chance to dream"). This book is very well written compared to all other romance novels that I have read. Why? Simply because her hero has one flaw, which makes it really different from all other romance novels in which the hero is too good without a flaw and the heroine too beautiful to believe. For once, a romance novel in which both hero and heroine fall in love not just because they were attracted to one another's looks. Okay, so it's been a about 20 romance books since I read this one, that I can't remember the characters' names, but I do remember the story and it is a great one and has tender moments which really made my eyes teary.
A Fantastic Read!
In "This Is All I Ask," Lynn Kurland has succeeded at what I feel is the most difficult type of romance to write--the kind driven by character, not by plot, where conflict is caused by personality clash that can only be resolved by personal growth and self-awareness. In this novel, the hero, the heroine, and their friends are not cardboard cut-outs but actual people taking up residence in your imagination for the space of the story. They have strengths, and they have weaknesses, and how they overcome those weaknesses, and find true strength in uniting against evil, will keep you riveted to the end. A beautfiul love story, a tense battle between good and evil, and characters worth getting to know--this book has it all. I also enjoyed the gentle humor of this book, based upon the characters' foibles and small vanities rather than on some sort of sitcom joke.

Boring yet good.
All in all, this book turned out to be okay. I couldn't really give it a much bigger rating than that because the topic was pretty boring to say the least. The only reason the book was good was because the author has talent and can make boring things seem at least interesting. I usually go for the more spectacular topics, but if you're looking for a relaxing read that doesn't make you think, try this.
Excellent Young Adult horse fiction
This is a fun book, a realistic rather than romanticized
story about the trials of growing up and
working with horses. A good read for older horse-lovers.
i love horses and i loved this book, it was the greatest
