I bought a copy of this book soon after it was printed. I then bought a further two copies for friends. Last year I lent my copy to a friend who had just lost her daughter. It was never returned.

The book is really good I knew a lot of the poems in it, but found some I that I only knew a couple of lines of. The poems are very well chosen and cover all types of grief, it helps get over the feeling of having no purpose left in life , no point in going on. I especially liked the back cover, I believe the poem on this was read at Princess Diana's funeral. I was hoping it would be reprinted, so I could get a copy again.

This little book of poetry was so helpful during the tough times. I have since given it to others dealing with grief. It is easy and enjoyable reading....very calming and enlightening.

This is truly the most amazing art book on fae I have seen, aside from Brian Froud. The pictures take me to fantasy land on a regular basis. The colors couldn't be any better. Its the perfect gift for the faerie collecter, including yourself. I give it only 4 stars because it could have used more script and more pictures, although they were beautiful, I wish this book was bigger!

Familiar and classic passages, as well as unusual poetry are placed between beautiful illustrations of antique roses. The book feels very feminine, Victorian and is romantic. The pages are scented delicately, but the fragrance is lasting.
