I bought this book after reading some some positive reviews. No doubt it is a good book BUT it is targeted for paper based TOEFL test. Although it has 6 complete tests it does not come with the audio casset to take the listening comprehension part of the test. Further the audio casset cannot be purchased seperately as [it has been]... discontinued [from] print.

It give a good review on question type of CBT TOEFL but the pratice questions are still in PBT format. I will give it 5 stars if the 6 sample exams are in CBT format.

This easy reader book may not be such an easy reader. I have used this book with students in my class and they have found it difficult and confusing to read because of the tongue twisters. I would not recommend this book for first grade students. This book because of it's tongue twister contents must be used with experienced, confident readers. This book uses letter repetition which combines single consonant sounds with blends. For example sea and shell. The s is a single sound and the sh is a blend. The story can be very entertaining for more experienced readers. Students find it funny and like practicing trying to say the tongue twisters out loud. This book could be used as a read aloud with younger children.

Good book specially (the testing points) which help the person be familiar with the type of questions he will answer, but the probelm is that there are no cassettes for the listening section, the person has to read rather than listen, to be able to get that book's benifit you need to buy the cassette from the ARCO CO who publish it.(I try to look for these cassettes on the AMAZON but it is not). Regarding the cd which is comes with I can say it is excellent, because you can take test as much as you want while you will not face the same questions again in short time.also that cd has a builder skill program, a program helps the user to recognize his progress.actually the book alone worth 3 stars rating but I give it 4 because of that cd. finally if that book came with the cassettes it will get 5 stars with no dout.by the way I'm 28 years old but there is no space for that age in the selection so I take one.
