Better Safe than sorry
This book is very thoughtfully written. I like the completeness of the information and the right kind of information for a child. It compares good love (hugs and kisses) with inappropriate sexual love. It also states proper names for private body parts.

Easy to read and very inspirational.
The book has a very simple idea. Why save the best for last, eat dessert first. I would recommend that every household have a copy and refer to it often.

Great PLanning Guide
I am an active duty E8 retiring in JAN of 98. I have been reading this series since 1995 in order to help me pick out my retirement location. It contains 95 % of the information you will need in regards to retiring from the service. Sol Gordon usually publishes the new editions around March of the year.

Nice pictures but not enough facts
I didn't find this book useful. It didn't have enough factual content. It was composed of mainly pretty pictures and comments like "All families are different". It seemed appropriate for the 3-4 year old age group. I liked "What's the Big Secret" by Laurie and Marc Brown much better.

Nothing special, but certainly adequate.
Simple illustrations and explanations of the process of intercourse, pregnancy and birth. Stresses the idea of the parents having good feelings about creating a child together.

A warm, loving explanation of where babies come from.
This warmly told story of where babies come from is truthful and culturally sensitive. The beautiful illustrations show various sizes and races of families, and the normal questions kids ask are addressed honestly. I used it with my children and have given this book as a gift. It's one of my favorites.
