Bede, "that the Church has been present in India for over fifteen hundred years and has had for the most part everything in its favor, and yet in all this time hardly two in a hundred of the people has been converted to the christian faith. The position is, indeed, worse even than this figure would suggest, as the vast majority of Christians are concentrated in a very few samll areas and in the greater part of India the mass of people remains today untouched except in a very general way by the christian faith. It is necessary to go even further than this and to say that for the immense majority of the Indian people Christianity still appears as a foreign religion imported from the West and the soul of India remains obstinately attached to its ancient religion. It is simply not a matter of ignorance. This may have been true in the past, but in recent times there has been a remarkable revival of Hinduism, which is more or less consciously opposed to Christianity, and the educated Hindu regards his religion as definitely superior to Christianity."  The state of things described by Fr. Bede would have caused no concern to a normal human mind. There is nothing obstinate about Hindus remaining attached to their ancient religion which has given them a large number of saints, sages and spiritual giants, and enriched them with an incomparable wealth of art, architecture, music and literature. There is nothing wrong with Hindus who find their own religion more satisfying than an alien faith brought in by imperialist invaders. Moreover, Christianity has yet to prove that it has something better to offer in terms of spiritual seeking or vision and attainment. But the missionary mind, unfortunately has never been a normal human mind. It has always suffered from the hallucination that it has a monopoly on truth and that it has a divine command to strive for the salvation of every soul. That alone can explain why the mission in India, instead of dismantling itself, is making determined efforts to regroup and return for yet another assault on Hinduism.  The mission strategists are now making Christianity drop its alien attire and get clothed in Hindu cultural forms. Christianity is being presented as an indigenous faith. Christian theology is being conveyed through categories of Hindu philosophy; Christian worship is being conducted in the manner and with the materials of Hindu puja; Christian sacraments sound like Hindu samskaras; Christian Churches copy the architecture of Hindu temples; Christian hymns are being set to Hindu music; Christian themes and personalities are being presented in styles of Hindu painting; Christian missionaries dress and live like Hindu sannyasins; Christian mission stations look like Hindu ashrams. And so on, all aspects of Christian thought, organization and activity are being disguised in Hindu forms. The fulfilment will be when converts to Christianity proclaim with complete confidence that they are Hindu Christians.  A remarkable book that in a few pages unravels the wily missionaries' ploys. It is said that a million pounds are being used a day by Great Britain alone for conversion to Christianity. Add to that the huge sums that are being invested by the other western powers for the same purpose and one can roughly visualize the immensity of the problem Hinduism faces. To make matters even more difficult Hindus are now burdened with a self-proclaimed secularist Government from which Hindus can only expect opposition of the worst kind and the most heinous of sabotage and damage.  Every Hindu worth the name should read this book. 

This book is a superb book for those with an open mind and for those who are not aware how the christian missionary appratus is working for the past two millenia in the process of annihilation of native religions, cultures and nations. For those who enjoy the books of Ram Swarup, Goel and Koenrad Elst, this book is one more brick in the ideological strengthening of hindu nationalism and their appreciation of other peaceful nonsemetic national cultures. The author is a great original thinker.His writings will definitely open readers mind and made them to think more. A must for any indologistas to a gullible reader, who is fed by the staple stuff written by marxists,mullahas/missionaries/hindu baiters/alieanted hindus. This book is not to be read but need to be preserved in the personnal collections of all truth seekers. This is is one of my personaal clooections and I read it many times.

THIS REVIEW BY SITA RAM GOEL Hindu Temples .......VOLUME (I) ************************************* The movement for the restoration of the Ramajanmabhumi Temple at Ayodhya has brought to the fore a suppressed chapter of India's history, namely, the large-scale destruction of temples by the Islamized invaders. This chapter is by no means closed. The Appendix to this book provides details of many temples destroyed by Moslems all over Bangladesh as recently as October-November, 1989.Currently, temples, or whatever had remained of them, are meeting a similar fate in the Kashmir valley.  This chapter, however, though significant, was only a part of the Moslem behavior pattern as recorded by Moslem historians of medieval India. The other parts were:  1) mass slaughter of people not only during war but also after the armies of Islam had emerged victorious;  2) capture of large numbers of non-combatant men, women and children as booty and their sale as slaves all over the Islamic world; 3) forcible conversion to Islam of people who were in no position to resist;  4) reduction to the status of "zimmis" or non-citizens of all those who could not be converted and imposition of inhuman disabilities on them;  5) emasculation of the "zimmis" by preventing them from possessing arms;  6) impoverishment of the "zimmis" through heavy discriminatory taxes and misappropriation of a major part of what the peasants produced;  7) ruination of the native and national culture of the "zimmis" by suppressing and holding in contempt all its institutions and expressions.  Nor is this behavior pattern a thing of the past; it persisted even after the Moslem rule was over. The Moslem revivalist movements in the nineteenth century, particularly in Bengal, tried to repeat, as far as they could, the performance of the medieval Moslem swordsmen and sultans. More recently, after the Islamic state of Pakistan was carved out, Hindus have been forced to leave their ancestral homes, en masse from its western wing and in a continuous stream ofrefugees from its eastern wing, now an independent Islamic state of Bangladesh that came into being with the help of India. Hindu temples and other cultural institutions have more or less disappeared from Pakistan, while they continue to be under constant attack in Bangladesh.  How to understand this behavior pattern so persistently followed over a thousand years under very different conditions and so consistent in its expression? What is its deeper ideological source?  It is rooted in Islam's religious teachings, its theology and its religious laws; it derives from its peculiar conception of momins and kafirs, from its doctrines of Jihad, darul Islam and dar-ul-harb, and from what it regards as the duty of a Moslem state. Hindu India is called upon to make a deeper study of Islam than it has hitherto done. It can neglect this task at its own peril.  The present volume makes no pretence of presenting such a study, but by choice restricts itself mainly to the study of Hindu temples destroyed and desecrated and converted into mosques and khanqahs. (The second volume, with the subtitle 'The Islamic Evidence' by Sita Ram Goel, has already appeared in the Indian market and several copies are on order for our readers in the US) It provides a list of around 2,000 Moslem monuments which stand on the sites of deliberately demolished temples or in the construction of which temple materials have been used. Here and there, it also mentions other theological props and concomitants of the iconoclastic ideology. In the book Ayodhya retains its importance, but it does not occupy the center of discussion. In dealing with its subject, it exercises complete fidelity to truth; unlike secularist and Marxist writers, it does not believe in re-writing and fabricatinghistory. Its aim is to raise the informational level of our people and to make them better aware of the more persistent ideological forces at work.  India's historical study cannot be limited only in the learning and memorizing the names of kings and dates of battles; the backbone of Indian history lies in our heritage symbolized by our temples, vihars and stupas, granthagars or libraries, our ancient customs and rites which have deep meanings. HINDU TEMPLES -- What Happenedto Them, is a good beginning for our people to learn about our ancestors and the kind of life they had to go through under thebestial rule of the Moslems. This book is a must for all Hindus. 

Goel has done a great service to hindu society as well as those native civilizations of Europe/America/Africa who have been annihilated by the iconoclastic ideologies masquerading as religions. As usual like any other of his books Shri, Goel makes the point very convincing. When you read this book you will feel the difference. The chapters on monotheism and Icanoclasm are extremely well documented regarding the imposition of ISlam on the peaceful Meccan /Arabian Pre-Islamic Pagans. This book is a must for those people of islamic countries especiallly the Arabs/Persians/Khurasanis/Turks/Pakistanis/Hindustani muslims/Any Indologist/Any Indian who is interested to know the truth about his/her spirtual past. This is not an ordinary book it is an eye-opener. After reading this book the reader will emerge with a new analytical ability in the process of evaluation of human civilizations. A must for every truth seeke

Dr. Goel is a very talented engineer and professor and knows a lot about VLSI interconnections. He is the best teacher that I've ever had in college or earlier and has taught me a lot about VLSI design and the physics of semiconductors.

This book's author scrutinized the software testing in a totally different way from most software testing books. The author focused on modern OO software testing, mainly glass box testing. It is very helpful, because it covers some important changes for OO system testing, which are not included in most software testing books.

Here are some points that impressed me most:

1) Information Hiding and Abstraction: Although information hiding brings many benefits to programmers, it may be a strain on the life of a software tester. To test a method, if a tester wants to check the state of an object before and after the invocation of the method, he needs to access the internal state or data of that object. However, it is hidden to testers. Abstraction separates the essential behavior of an object form its implementation. An object can be tested as a black box using the abstraction of the object.

2) Testability of Object-Oriented Systems: The author's definition of testability is a prediction of the probability of software failure occurring due to the existence of a fault. The definition implies the software testability is related to the ability of software to hide faults for a selected input distribution. Obviously, OO system's testability is lower than procedural counterpart.

3) More opportunities for testers: Object orientation is employed to improve productivity and efficiency. Higher-complexity software is being produced in less time. This increased complexity is conducive to more error opportunities in novel ways. - Hai Huang

I regret buying this book. It is poorly organized and poorly written. I had to wade through fractured English, repetitive points, and illogically ordered topics to try to get the information I needed. After a couple of hours, I gave up and ordered a different book.
