Funny stories of growing up with golf and being Bill Murray
If you are a fan of Bill Murray's and a golfer you want to like this book a lot. Little disappoints in this volumn and it is a lot of fun to read. I laughed out loud at least once in every chapter. The remarkable thing about this book is just how much a part of Bill Murray's life golf really is -- and just how much a part of golf Bill Murray has become. This is by no means a literary masterpiece, in fact, in several spots the reader is sure to wonder if any one proof-read this for continuity. However, this book does a great job in bringing the reader into the "never a dull moment" golf-life of Bill Murray. I'm left to wonder what would a Bill Murray celebrity pro-am be like -- probably a "caddy challenge match" and more fun people have had in years. A good read, that leaves you happier, if not better, for having read it.

Bill Murray is a funny writer!
This is the first book that Bill Murray has written. I must say that Murray has really done a good job! He's funny, kinda touching and appealing all the way! He talks about his life in golf from his chilhood to the present. From being a caddy, then starring in the greatest golf movie ever made, Caddyshack; and finally become a golfer himself. Some great stories about playing golf with Michael Jordan, Clint Eastwood, Scott Simpson, and Kevin Costnar, etc. Murray also talks about his family and his will to be in show business. There're occasionally some special sections with other people's comments on Bill like Chevy Chase, etc. Furthermore, you can see some pictures of baby Murray and Murray as Pat Boone! You don't have to be a Bill Murray fan to like this book. This is a book for those who are interested in humor, movies, golf, comedy, and biography!! Read this! I enjoy every page of the book and so would you!

Everything I expected
Hey, it's a book on golf written by Bill Murray. I didn't expect an intense discussion on golf...I didn't expect an intense discussion on Bill's life. I expected a funny, witty, clever, and subtlely wise book about some of Bill's adventures and lessons learned from golf and life. And that's what I got.

It's one of the few books I read from cover to cover in one sitting. It was that funny, witty, clever, and subtlely wise...to me anyways...

If you don't want a thorough review of Spanish...
I found this book to be succint and easy to comprehend, but it left out some important grammar and vocabulary topics. In fact, the majority of the book was composed of practice tests, which were way too easy. When I took their tests, I "scored" a 760. However, when it came to the actual test, I got a 640. It was pretty disappointing, especially since I've had four years of Spanish. I reccomend Barron's book. I bought it to study for a retake and found it to be much more complete. It helped me to get a 760, but this time for real.

wutz up w/ this
in reply to the guy sayn i dunno if any1 noticed this but all the reviewz here r for physix n chem but it should be for math... well my reply is it should also be for spanish.

This author throws it all against the wall, and some sticks
I detest the conduct of Bill Clinton. I disliked some things about this book. Primarily, that the author threw a ton of stuff against the wall, to see how much of it would stick. In doing so, some does, and a lot doesn't. Therein lies the problem: making accusations which lack substantiation or a volume of compelling circumstantial evidence, helps rather than hinders the Clintons. The book relies too much on rumor and innuendo to truly succeed. I have gained much better information and enjoyment from the Slick Willie books, the Year of the Rat book, Dave Marrannis First In His Class, No Surprises, and even The Clinton Chronicles book. The book's redeeming value is that you will read some things you probably haven't before, and a few of them have credible facts and evidence. These are in the minority, however.

An exercise in self promotion
George Lois is rightfully an advertising legend, but anyone hoping to learn how to find the "big idea" from this book will probably be disappointed. The book is mostly a series of ad biz reminiscences, in which Lois talks about what a crazy, clever fellow he is. As a historical overview of 50s, 60s and 70s advertising, it's interesting -- but for a better "how to" book, I'd recommend "Hey Whipple Squeeze This" by Luke Sullivan or "Cutting Edge Advertising" by Jim Aitchison instead.
