When I first began to look for information on Uruguay, I had a tough time. When I found this book, it was like a gift from God (to learn about a country from Hell). I found out interesting stuff like Uruguay is a great place for livestock farms and most people are so poor that they use horse and buggy or Ford model T's rejected from the U.S. I hate this country but this is a very informative book.

The book has facts and figures about Pakistan.

The format of this book is well laid out and provides a good snapshot of Belarus. Unfortunately, it is out of date by some 2 to 3 years. It is especially terrible when the picture depicting the national flag is incorrect. Over all. I do not recommend this book.

An expensive repackaging of readily available information from sources such as the IMF, the CIA Country Reports, or the Economist. You could buy this book, or you could learn most of what it contains by an hour and a half of web surfing. Not very useful if you have an elementary familiarity with the country.
