I have been doing crafting and sewing for the past 8 years. I love picking up interesting craft books, and when I saw La Casa Loca on Kathy's website I ordered it immediately. Now it is the most colourful, fun, imaginative and inspiring craft book in my collection. Kathy uses such great descriptions, fun little stories, and wonderful directions that I read the whole thing right away and then went out to stock up on supplies. My first project: the "Crazy for Carmen Miranda Lamp."
This is a book that is full of fun projects challenging enough for serious crafters, yet easy enough for anyone to do. I've already recommended to all of my friends. Thanks for a great book!!

I'm not exactly the arts and crafts type but I am a collector of Mexican art and imports. I bought this book last weekend at the Latino book festival because I fell in love with all the gorgeous photos. It is so refreshing to see a new style of tounge in cheek Mexican art that is made with a lot of TLC. I think I am actually going to give some of these ideas a try because they all seem easy enough (I guess I'll have to break down and buy a glue gun). I would have never of thought of cutting up a shirt and making a toss pillow out of it or using the novelas for gift cards. Fun, fun, fun. Fantastic job on this book! I can hardly wait to share it with my friends and co-workers.

I work with kids in my church, and have run into way too many "kid's crafts" that are anything but kid's stuff. This book, however, proves to be exactly that, a KID'S craft book. The projects are do-able, with instructions that even a 4-year-old can understand. My child liked this book so much that she would choose it for her bedtime story.

I am a kindergarten teacher who uses and loves this book. The kids get excited picking the page to 'make'....the illustrations are colorful and fun. This is a fantastic book.

I've had this book and the other two in the series for about 3 years and I go to them for ideas for gifts and recipes all the time. This one has ideas for food gifts that are really good. My friends love the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix and it's become a tradition every year. I'd give people the books as gifts, but then they'd know where I get my ideas!

I have 2 children, ...and we sit down with Ms. Ross's books andthey pick out a project. The instructions are very easy to follow andmost of the supplies needed can be found around the home. They don'ttake much time to complete which helps to keep the kids attention. Wemade several decorations for gifts for the kids grandparents and theywere thrilled and the kids are so proud of their projects. I alreadyown 7 of her books and plan to get them all eventually. I highlyrecommend this and all her books.

This book has great ideas for crafts to make with children. The directions are clear the supplies are easy to find and the illustrations are very helpful. I think the projects would be appropriate for children k-5, and because they are arranged by season they are great for gifts and holidays. I bought one for a student teacher gift but I'm ordering one for myself because I know I'll really use this book... through all the seasons.

This is another really easy to fallow Kids Craft book! Colorful Pics. Easy and Clear Directions. Hours of FUN for the Family! We Love this Set of Craft books! Now all they need is one or two for Toddlers and the Teens and they will have a Wonderful selection of Keepers!

The ideas in the book are creative and original. It is hard to decide which craft to do first. My kids really enjoy these books and I have lots of other craft books but we always end up picking something out of the "wild about" series.
