This is the best book for identifying wildflowers that I have ever used. It works!! The blossom pictures are clear and make matching my finds to the pictures certain. My old copy was damaged. Since I was getting a new edition, I took the old copy to work. My coworkers liked it as much as I do. Several are buying their own copies for home use. This book is terrific!

This is a valuable resource for the naturalist as well as the wildflower enthusiast which describes 600 wildflowers found in Arkansas. Color photographs are provided for 484 flowers. Plants are arranged by family; this may seem awkward at first, but the book is well indexed. A glossary, state map showing regions, and diagrams of plant parts are other helpful tools provided in the book. This book is a must for me while hiking or driving the highways and backroads of my state. The only way Hunter could have improved this resource, is by providing a color guide for quicker idntification.

I imagine Mr. Hunter worked long and hard on this project. I recommend this guide without reservation-- great pictures, text, and layout by evolutionary relationship. Compared to the Peterson Guide covering this region, this is far superior for its geographic specificity. Whether your interest lies in other areas, such as birding or butterflying, or general natural history appreciation, this guide will improve your knowledge of Arkansas wildflowers and their associated fauna ten-fold. Being a pack rat, I especially appreciated the chapter "Surveying and Cleaning the Home," which has educated me about clutter. Each chapter offers its own surprises. I have learned that in buying a condo or renting a unit, I should be provided with air ducting design information. I didn't suspect that in some buildings the exhaust from one unit actually becomes the incoming air of the next unit. There is even a chapter on sex and allergies. Yes, you can be allergic to your partner.

I needed a book that would help me understand my allergies and how to live with them. This book was exactly what I was looking for. The author uses easy to understand terms that makes it an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that suffers from some sort of allergy.

This book is not only the definitive book on magic it is a description of one of the most exciting and exotic AD&D Kingdoms ever. It doesn't clutter up your mind with hundreds of magic items and spells. It shows you how they can be created. In this principality the rulers are usually stranger than any monster you'll ever meet. There's just SO much happening in Glantri. Once your characters arrive in Glantri it'll be hard to get them to leave. If you like AD&D then buy this book.

The young women in this book are all very troubled. They all have slept with some of the most important men in Hollywood. Most of the stories are quite interesting and it makes for a quick and good read.

I love this book. Hey, I am a teen-ager, and loved it. It is really descriptive, so uh--reader discretion advised, but otherwise...great, great, and marvelous, darling!

I've had this book on my shelf for several years and find myself turning to it not just for recipes, but for general information about the many styles of beer outlines in its pages. The recipes are easy to follow and the ones I've tried have been delicous. I particularly like the Beer and Horseradish Mustard, try it with brats or their recipe for soft pretzels. I wish I had more time to cook so I could explore more recipes.

The authors provide a remarkable history of beer in America, from colonial times to as current as the printing of the book. Much of the book involves regional (i.e., Northeast, Midwest, Northwest) stories commonly of 10-12 pages, followed by at least 20-30 recipes from the region that pair especially well with beer.

The quality and diversity of recipes provided is incredible, and any recipe I've made has received rave reviews. Following are some of the items that really stood out -- Beer Rocks (a family favorite), Wisconsin Cheese and Beer Soup, Onion Bread, Beer and Horseradish Mustard, Fresh Beer Sausage, New Orleans Hot Pot, Basic Brine for Seafood, Smoked Fish, Caponata, Porter Pot Roast, Barbecued Shrimp, Liptauer Cheese, Pennsylvania Dutch Stuffed Onions, Bainbridge Island Smoked Fish Chowder, Smoked Trout Pate, Soft Pretzels (recipe has a misprint -- use 1 1/2 cups milk, not 1/2), and Onion Rings (the best I've ever made at home). Real Beer and Good Eats was the first cookbook I purchased and I've had it now for over 7 years. Since then, I've accumulated 50+ cookbooks and 100+ cooking magazines. I can honestly say that this book is one of the few that I find myself returning to again and again for solid recipes and cooking ideas. It has proven to be a lasting classic, and I wish it were back in print so I could give it to more people as a gift.

We bought this as a gift. And from what we have tasted it has come in very very handy. All the recipes are easy to follow and very descriptive. If you really don't know much about tortillas or if you are an expert, this book could give you a little helping hand. A great buy! Give it as a gift today.

Maps are almost useless. Examples: on pg.31 # 39 is put no. of Sunset, when it is south, next to # 53 & 55. as per text pg. # 59. On pg. # 74 Beverly Glen Blvd. is shown as Sunset Blvd. Sunset is not labeled at all. On pg.106 #11 is shown in a insert of downtown L. A. Malvern ave. is in Brentwood approx. 15 mi. west of map location. Maps are poor at best needs much better reasearch.
