Delightful is right!
This cookbook delightful to use and to peruse! It is a collection of 350 "small town" recipes from cast, friends and guest artists from the show. Trivia and snapshots are sprinkled throughout.

All the recipes I have tried in the cookbook have been very accurate. No missing ingredients. No temperatures wrong. The index is thorough: recipes by name and by major ingredient. The recipes are easy to follow and come out tasty too!

The names are unique: Remember Gomer telling Barney "Citizen's arrest!! Citizen's arrest!!" Well, "Citizen's Arrest Chocolate Cheesecake" would be worth a night in the slammer with Otis! It's that good!

Every recipe I have tried has become a favorite: "My Name Ain't Clem Applesauce Cake" "Wally's 7-Up(r) Pound cake" "Ellie's Apple Crisp"....

Delightful is right! For reading, cooking and eating!

NOT ONLY DELIGHTFUL BUT ESSENTIAL FOR EVERY KITCHEN!
I purchased this cookbook out of the fondness I held for the television show and thought it would make a novel conversation piece when guests linger in my kitchen. Aunt Bee's Delightful Deserts has become an essential desert cookbook not only for my dinners but family gatherings, cookouts, and parties. Lorranie's Fudge has become a Christmas tradition! The photos from the television show with kooky captions along with the recipes make cooking from this book as delightful as Mayberry itself. A must for any cook.

This is a great book...a must buy!!!!
Great meals from great pickers

Not just a cookbook<P>
The Bluegrass Music Cookbook is a great book...a must for any fan of Bluegrass Music or curious about the genre.

Actually, I've only tried a couple of the recipes, so that should make you ask "How can he review a cookbook if he hasn't tried out the recipes?"

Good Question...The Bluegrass Cookbook is one of the best books to introduce someone to the significant Bluegrass players of today and yesterday. There are lots of great photos that I saw for the first time in this book, and great biographical notes on each of the featured artists. Its a great book to browse, and even the knowledgeable historian can pick up something new after each browse.

And by the way...given the Southern rural heritage of Bluegrass Music, you know the cookin's great!

I really like this book which lists recipes gathered over the years from various American truck stops. Enough to make your mouth water and your nostrils flare! From the basic to the elaborate, old home style to modern. This book will ensure that some recipes are not lost forever in these days of rapid change.

Jim Brodey - Urbanity and Profanity
Jim Brodey lit up the Lower East Side of New York City for thirty years. Alongside contempories like Ted Berrigan, Anselm Hollo and Ron Padgett, Brodey helped to change the shape of what we consider 'modern' poetry.

The Heart Of The Breath is Brodeys' final, magnificent statement to the world of poetics. In these pieces, Brodey rearranges the world to fit into his broad and dynamic parameters - which include anything - literally - ANYthing. Leaving no stone unturned, fearless and bold, Brodey walks through these pages like a lion stalking his prey. These poems are filled with humor. These poems are filled with pathos. These poems are strange. These poems stalk off into the fog and dissapear forever.

These poems breath.

Jim Clark Remembered
Graham Gauld was a personal friend of Jim Clark, who was probably the second best race-car driver of all-time (only Mario Andretti was better in my opinion). Jim Clark won the 1965 Indianapolis 500 and the 1963 and 1965 Formula 1 World Championships while driving for Colin Chapman and the Lotus team. Jim is also the first driver to win the Indianapolis 500 with a rear-engine race car. I have three of Graham Gauld's book including "Jim Clark: The Legend Lives On", "Jim Clark Remembered" and Jim Clark: Portrait of a Great Driver". All three books rate as 5-star books in my opinion. If you like the glory days of the Indianapolis 500 or the Formula 1 World Championship, you will love these 3 books. My oldest son is named after Jim Clark.

Jim Clark: Tribute to a Champion
Jim Clark was first driver to win the Indianapolis 500 with a rear-engine race car, which he did in 1965. In 1963 and 1965, he won the Formula 1 World Driving Championship. Eric Dymock's book helps keep Jim Clark a legend. This is an excellent book on one of the greatest race car drivers of the 1960s. The spirit of Jim lives in this book.

Excellent publication
I am very impressed with the quality of the writing in this little book. My favorite, by far, was a short story titled "A Conversation with God" which was interesting, clever, thought-provoking, and very funny. I will continue to buy Swagazine and will look for more stories by this author.

Not enough information
This is just a list of 1,000+ questions about a limited number of horror movies, with answers on the next page. I guess you're supposed to ask them at parties or something for "hours of fun." The questions are certainly trivial -- eliciting a response of "who cares" rather than "isn't that fascinating" -- and it is tedious to constantly turn to the next page to find the answers. It felt a good deal like reviewing for a 5th grade geography test.

Thousands of facts are available, but many are perfectly useless and utterly dull, so why devote a book to them? If the goal of this book is to spark interest in the films or in the horror genre, it has utterly failed. My copy is going into the garbage.

There's NOTHING trivial about this horror trivia book...
This is a delightful book chock-full of valuable information and fun trivia questions about a multitude of horror movies and stars...You'll take great pride in the questions you answer correctly...and you'll learn much from the ones you miss!

If you love the horror genre as much as I do, then by all means BUY THIS BOOK...it will be a treasure in your library for many years to come. We can only hope for a sequel and /or another book by these wonderful authors sometime in the future.

A must for all lovers of the horror genre!
This book is a wonderful addition for anyone's library. It's interesting, fun and informative. Bravo to the authors for such a great work. Highly recommended!

Good stuff....
A nice collection of artists, with some great examples of what they can do. But....
Paper stock is poor and some prints are a bit blurry.

Look at it Regularly!
This is a great artbook, featuring many famous furry artists. I love the art, and look at it regularly. If you're a fan of Michele Light, I recommend it.

The best book in the world.
This book started my physical collection of furry publishings, and still remains the best singal pice I have. Not only is it perfectaly published, but contains excellent examples of anthropomorphic artwork. Its my personal bible.
