The Klutz Book Of Magic
This book teaches you the basics of magic. It includes everything you need to know from card tricks to small illusions. This book is great for beginners of magic. I am a magician and I loved this book. One of the reasons this book is great for everyone is because it includes all the props you need! Also for the serious magician the Klutz Book of Magic (The Movie) is a great companion for visual learners. Buy them both today

Great Book
This book is great. I got it when I was 7, and now am 13 doing all sorts of great tricks. All the props are included (so you dont have to waste any time making your own) and there are great illustrations. (i.e. For one trick, one side of the page shows your view of the trick, while the other side shows the spectator's view. (a MUST for all magic tricks) So if you like magic, (or if you don't) this book will get you started in no time at all.

The Klutz Book of Magic
This book was absolutely great, it got me on my feet in the world of magic. I got this book at age 10 and did my first Birthday-Magic Show at age 12 I am now 13 and doing at least one party a week a long with the occasional nursing home ect. I owe it all to this book i wasn't even interested in magic before I got it and look at me now i have twenty different Magic Books and can perform over 300 tricks spontaneusly. Out of all my books I like this one the best. I have other Klutz Books and would reccomend any of them even if you don't like magic I'm sure they have a book about something you like . thanks for your time

CRICHTON'S LATEST CRASHES AND BURNS
I have read all or Crichton's novels (including the "Great Train Robbery" which I highly recommend) with the exception of "Eaters of the Dead" and "Andromeda Strain". Crichton has an uncanny knack for giving the inside story of interesting, even fascinating businesses and technology. I couldn't wait to get my hands on his latest work. This book is his least riveting. I found it tedious and confusing in the details. The characters were not well developed. With the recent rash of air disasters - Value Jet's Florida catastorphe and TWAs continuing mystery over the Atlantic - I expected to be completely enthralled. Contrary to this, the ending left MUCH to be desired; it seemed almost anticlimactic. Kind of like, "Oh, so that's what happened. How interesting..." (said with tounge-in-cheek). If you like learning the inside scoop on big business in a not-well-known industry, you will be mildly interested in this work. If you want gripping drama with plot twists leading up to a totally unexpected ending, I suggest watching "ER", Thursdays on NBC

Marvelous Novel by One of America's Most Prized Author
After oredering this book from Amazon.com it sat on my bookshelf for about 2 months without me starting it. I finally got to this enthralling book and read it in just three days.

The novel stars Casey Singleton the QA director for Norton and an enthralling investigation over an N-22 jet that suffered damage for unknown reasons in the air killing three leaving 56 injured. Through twist and turns Michael Crichton takes you on a thrill ride through the life of a highpowered associate at a major company and phony TV reporters. After CNN shows a disturbing video of footage of what happened on the plane it gives Jennifer Malone, a 29 year old that works for Newsline the idea to make a story of a lifetime. Meanwhile Jennifer wants to interview the people at Norton and Casey has to really figure out what happened. Since the flight data recorder will take over a year to finish she goes on the plane and searches for a QAR and finds one. Throughn many contreversies and plots, Airframe is a book that and reader does not want to miss.

Read this book as soon as you can. You'll thouroghly enjoy it! Good job Michael Crichton!

Airframe Rocks! Mad details-- it's the bomb!
Crichton does it again! This time we're in the air plane manufacturing business and Crichton makes it live. As an added bonus, we go behind the scenes on one of the most widely accepted venues of 90s American life, news show television. This book has something for everyone: If you watch TV for news, read the papers or listen to the radio... if you fly on a regular basis, fly once in a while, or if you are afraid to fly, you have to read this book!

As a frequent air traveler, he engaged my interest with the very first pages. We witness an event filled morning aboard the passenger cabin of a foreign carrier from the perspective of an American couple bound from Hong Kong to Denver with their baby girl. As I read, my excitment and curiosity grew.

Crichton takes a female point of view for the duration of the book-- and like last summer's movie, the Net, the heroine of AIRFRAME is a woman. Through all the intrigue and mystery surrounding her investigation of an "air incident" we come to admire and respect Casey Singleton for her efforts to find the truth despite high personal risk.

AIRFRAME presents a credible tale filled with encounters that reflect reality in the media and the air transportation business. When I bought it, I thought it might sway my feeling of security on planes, knowing statistics show that flying is much safer than driving a car. On the contrary, the book reinforced my confidence in the air plane industry and the system of air safety in this country. Crichton's surprise ending leaves you with an empathy and sympathy for fellow travelers on life's journey, particulary parents. The understated truth demonstrated by Casey's investigation shows us that seemingly inconsequential everyday decisions can have an enormous impact on others.

Totally readable, totally exciting, totally engrossing Crichton at his best. Don't wait for the movie--buy AIRFRAME, read it, enjoy the ride and tell a friend!

Easy To Use
I found this book very user-friendly. You can look up scholarships by state, county, company, major, GPA, religious affiliation, etc. The only problem I found was that most of them are so specific that I didn't qualify for very many. As a 22-yr. old white female, graduated valedictorian of my high school class, and maintain over a 3.0 right now, I guess I expected to find more than I did. And most of what I found, I had already found on some online searches. This book has so much information, so it will be different for each person.

Lots of good information that you can't find online
I was checking to see if there was a new edition of the Scholarship Book, and I was surprised by someone's review that it wasn't useful to people with Internet access. I have tried to use the online search engines for funding, but a lot of the organizations that came up for me were completely wrong. And out of the ones that I seemed eligible for, many came back with no forwarding address. While online searches are a good idea in theory, it doesn't work if the information isn't updated. I found this book much more useful. I was able to look up in the index what I qualified for, and only one place I wrote to came back as a wrong address. When I called the number listed in the book, I was able to get the current information. I'm still waiting to hear if I get any money for school, but I think this is a great book with a lot of opportunities listed.

Well worth your dollars
There are about 4,000 listed but many are redundant. Example: Look up the ones of for San Mateo residents. Expect to find only 100 or so scholarships that suit you but even if you received one scholarship it would be worth it. I found the descriptions very clear and concise. Buy this book!
