I was moved as never before while reading Ruth Calkin's book. She talks to God with my voice and asks my questions. Her insight into what God offers me and what He expects from me is amazing. My heart was melted and I wept with abandon -- this woman knows God as I wish to know Him. I thank God that I found this book and this author, and I intend to look for other books she has written. I am buying a copy for every one of my girlfriends this Christmas.

Keep Me Faithful by Ruth Harms Calkin, is a book of prayer poems. I have never been so moved by an author and I have never yet opened this book without having been moved to tears. I always read a few of her poems at the beginning of my Saturday morning prayer group. It brings us right to the place where we can receive the Spirit's direction. I want to know this author. I want to meet this author. I want to write like this author. She is the most inspiring writer that I have ever come across!

I have the set of books, that for me, started with "Lord, I keep running back to you" book. I then went out and immediately bought another complete set of books to send to my sister in Pennsylvania. I am now in search of another set of books to send to an e-mail friend of mine in Canada who has, what the doctors are saying, uncurable cancer. These are precious books that say so very much of what we all think deep down inside. If you have a chance to obtain any of these books -- it would be a blessing to you to do so

I bought this book a few months before I got married, just because the name caught my eyes. Everytime I pick it up to read, I'm thankful That I have it.

Whenever the routine of being a wife and mother begin to overwhelm me, or numerous bothersome little things try my already tested patience, this little book can calm me and helps me to see things more objectively. The author obviously writes from real life experiences, and covers so many aspects of married life. I can't grow tired of it. It refreshes me each time I read a few of the poems.
