Islam is a religion which has always claimed that as scientific discoveries are made it will only reinforce the teachings in the Quraan because they of course are the teachings of the creator.Maurice Bucaille has eloqouently shown this by using unrefutable scientific evidence and also highlighted how once a false claim has been repeated enough, people blindly accept it as truth. He sets the record straight.

In his book, 'What is the Origin of Man', Maurice Bucaille unlocks the truth about Science and Religion based on Scientific proves in the Holy Koran. He shows how the truth from God does not contradict science, but the people themselves create the differences based on false claims and theories that were never proven, like Evolution.

After reading this book I was speechless.

I now see the importance that 'every word that is written' in any book is very critical and never to be over looked.

This is an excellent book, comparing the Holy Scriptures (Old Testament, New Testament and Quran) during Hebrews in Egypt (Hebrew people, Moses and Pharohs time) with secular knowledge/facts.

Authenticity of the facts presented is reliable because the author has given all the required quotations.

Bucaille does all honestly curious and thinking people a great service: puts the contents of these Holy Books into context with modern science. Quite a few "facts" which we have been tought are quite obviously manufactured consent. That the Qur'an is unadulterated is shown a dangerous supposition by latest research (refer to the syro-aramäic early Qur'an, found in 1971 during restauration of the main mosque of Saana, Jemen). Otherwise, 4 Stars and a comets tail!

I first read Dr. Maurice Bucaille's book two years ago, and since then, have recommended to many people that they read it. In fact, I consider it to be one of the most interesting and thoughtful books on comparative religion that I (in fairly extensive reading) have ever read. Dr. Bucaille shows through careful analysis exactly how the Qur'an is far superior to the Bible in its scientific accuracy, and how in fact, science can be used to prove Islam's truthfulness. While I'm sure that an ardent supporter of Christianity would not enjoy reading this book--particularly as it casts great doubt on Christianity as it is practiced today--I highly recommend it to anybody interested in learning.

If you are a lover of Truth, get your hands on this book. It is a stunning masterpiece that objectively compares the scientific basis of the Bible to the Qur'an. The result is clear: the Bible is from man, the Qur'an from God.

This book, written by a non-Muslim Frenchman, absolutely blows away any other in this category. Campbell's response is nothing more than a little child's whimpering because he was refused candy. To Muslims: This book reaffirms your faith. To Christians: If you are strong enough, brave enough, and have enough confidence, read this book, but be prepared to have your whole world rocked upside down.

If the scriptures are really from the heavens then they must conform completely and perfectly to scientific knowledge. They must not contain a single sentence or word that contradicts scientific knowledege or breakthroughs. They must be perfect and without error. Although Maurice Baucille was a Christian when he wrote this book he has proven beyond doubt what we Muslims have known for over 1400 years that the Qur'an is perfect, errorless and completely conforms with scientific knowledge and discoveries. Science has only recently begun to prove what we Muslims were told in the Qur'an over 1400 years ago. The Qur'an is perfect and is the word of GOD becuase only the word of GOD can be perfect. If anybody has any doubts on the perfection on the Qur'an or would like to see the many inconsistencies in the Bible he should surely read this book. A must for scientist who believe in GOD or are seeking the truth. I am a physician by trade and it has only proven to me things I already knew from medical school.

Dear fellow Readers, Specially my christian & Jewish cousins. Its about time that yopu refer to this book with a clean mind and without prejudice and you will clearly see the ONE True God and his manifestations in the everyday Laws of nature, that are science and the confirmation of all those in the Holy Quran ! The non-muslim readers may at first sight find it a bit agressive towards their religion but they should realize that they themselves are the victims of Politically oriented interests that led to the change of the original heavenly scriptures alltogether during the course of centuries. The simplest fact being that Bible has so many "Versions" while Quran is still the same as it was 1400 years ago ! just because of one simple reason .... God has promised in the Quran that he will save this "LAST TESTAMENT" in the original form for the generations to come unlike the previous scriptures !

Due to this Purity of the Quran, We even today find so many unexplainable truths about modern scientific aspects that are hidden in the Quran.

I recommend this book to every person who knows and understands logic and can judge without any prejudice.

I appreciated Dr. Bucaille's honesty. Finally, science can look up to religion rather than look down upon it. All of the scientific and historical flaws in the Old and New Testament (even Jewish and Christian scholars acknowledge them) point to the fact that these books are not divinely revealed. As for critics of the Quran's absolute compatibilty with science, I can provide a list of Many! non-Muslim scientists from different specialities and regions that affirm Bucaille's conclusion. Some include: Keith Moore, E. Marshall Johnson, Joe Leigh Simpson, TVN Pershaud, Tejatet Tejasen, Gerald C. Goeringer, Alfred Kroner, William Hay, Pete Palmer, Yoshiosi Kozan, etc. Religious prejudices die hard, but truth will inevitably prevail. PS. Dr. William Campbell's "rebuttal" was the most prejudiced and uninformed piece of writing I have ever seen. He has no knowledge of Quranic exegesis and interprets it like the Bible. At some points, I laughed. Hitler also "proved" that the Jews were inferior, but no one except the already narrow-minded bought his claims. The same holds true for Dr. Campbell's book. It's sad that people like to blind themselves. As the Quran states, "But only those who have wisdom understand."(3:7)

A fabulous book. I read the Bible and wonder whether it's a holy scripture or traditions or a combination of the two. I read this book and it answered my questions in plain and simple language (no philosophy or theology). I as an engineer can relate to the deeper meaning of this book. If you have a good understanding of Science this book is for you.

After reading this book, I read "Jesus Prophet of ISLAM". This book does a wonderful job of tracing the history of Jesus and his message. I now have no doubt, scientifically or historically, of Gods message to man and his promise in the Quran.

It's such a shame that our priests, leaders and the media mention none of this. In fact they do a wonderful job of completely hiding it. Islam is definitely a religion revealed by God and explains the religions that preceeded it. We are doing ourselves a huge disservice by ignoring it.

Hats off to Maurice Bucaille for taking the time to do the research and presenting it so honestly. He has made my search for God much easier.
