This book is one of the most impressive pieces of work i have seen regarding this topic. Being one of the most comprehensive works I have read on the subject, I was thoroughly impressed by Browne's work. I look forward to reading more from this impressive writer in the future.

Rodney Howard-Browne teaches us what the anointing really is and how to flow and operate in it. This book is an essential must for all who are considering going into any part of Christian ministry. Rodney Howard-Browne also tells us of his humbling experiences and how God exalted him. At certain parts funny, at other parts stern. Rodney Howard-Browne writes with great authority.

DiAngelo's story has a local flavor and takes the San Francisco Bay area reader through a fast paced trip. He gives us a glimpse into the history of evangelical traditons of the 60's and 70's. His command and skill of painting colorful word pictures is a rare gift. For those of us who lived through this period, in the Bay area, thousands of additonail words and pages of memories flashed before our minds. Evangelical traditions took on new meaning as each page of the story unfolded. The story is both profound and heart searching in it's simplicity.

Danny made himself vulnerable as he related his coversion story, a miraculous spiritual awakening, even as he has made himself vulnerable by takinng a firm stand, based on conviction in the beginning of the Genesis Worship Center.

I am eagerly looking forward to the sequal. Danny is a masterful story teller.

This book was very easy to read. I purchased it due to the book being endorsed by Rodney Howard Browne, more than any knowledge of the author. However it is an awesome testimony.
I wouldn't say it was in the 'life changing' category..but its been a long time since I have read a book that was as hard to stop reading as this one.
I got the impression that the book has been written a bit too early as the book ended with DiAngelo leaping into full time ministry and I would say that there is still a lot to happen.
If you are a 2nd (or 3rd) generation Christian, then this book will have a particular appeal to you, as DiAngelo writes about growing up in church, pretending all the right words/actions, but it all being an act...until he had his own unique encounter.

Gripping story of a former preacher who realizes his own hypocrisy. Search for significance is common to every person in some way or another. DiAngelo's story is inspiring and expertly crafted.

Rodney Howard-Browne has given us a treatise on a much needed topic, the real Jesus. He covers various aspects of who Jesus is as opposed to what "religious" people think who Jesus is. He covers nearly every conceivable topic in relationship to the nature of Jesus.

Howard-Browne's theology is mostly solid. There is ample biblical support given for his assertions that Jesus is much different from the pseudo-Jesus taught by much of the Church. He brings out the important fact that Jesus wants to bless the members of the Church.

All the positive points covered in this book are muddled by very trite writing. It was difficult to read entire paragraphs consisting of the same three word sentence repeated numerous times. The very real and compassionate minister of the gospel hid behind parody and silliness in his delivery of the subject. The theology gets 5 stars; the writing style a 1. Thus my overall rating of a 3.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. For The spirit filled Christian, It is a blessing. For the average Christian this book will encourage you to have a deeper relationship with God. And for the non Christian, it will present a non religious view of Jesus!! This book will show most people an intirely different point of view, and be a very positive life encouraging experience that can help in the world we live in.

This book cuts to the religous bone of who Jesus is. I have been to Rodney Howard Brownes meetings and the book is written exactly how he preaches. I only wish I had read this when I was a young christian instead of having a religous Son of God portrayed that was ready to condemm you at every wrong move. If you want a revitalisation,and a book thats very easy to read, plus the Gospels thrown in for good measure then I highly recommend this book

This book, "How To Increase & Release The Anointing" reminds us, believers, where we have come from-a slave to sin and gives us simple, foundational steps necessary to fullfill that commission here on earth.

I agree with Mr. Howard-Browne, the anointing is based on a relationship not a formula. Getting to know the Trinity (Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) intimately is what we must do each and every day if we want to seek His will not our will.

The only way you ever get to know a person is to spend time with that person. While reading this book, I had to ask myself, "What do I need to do to know You better?"

Those of us who desire to be used of God must make a committment to pray and meditate on His word daily. We must remember that the annointing breaks yokes of bondage off of people's lives. Walking in this annointing, we can make a difference in this world.
