This book is incredible. Keith Parkinson is a master with capturing both action scenes and poses. The flow of movement and expressive faces in his art are some of the best. His images are very creative and inspiring. Anyone who loves art and fantasy should definately own one of these books.

Keith Parkinson is perhaps one of the handful of fantasy artists on par with the legendary Jeff Easley, and his art is easily the most realistic and visually enthralling of all that have been recently created by other artists. Knightsbridge does complete justice to the incredible abilities demonstrated by K. Parkinson, including his mastery with fantasy creatures that appear completely cliche in the work of others: dragons, werebeasts, elves, etc.

Any artist interested in the Fantasy genre needs to have this book in their resource library. Keith's solutions to common problems are amazing.

these books are just great for bible study groups. they have many questions to answer as you read the chapter you are studying from the bible. questions are also included from other chapters of the bible that relate to the chapter you are studying.not alot of personal commentary just alot of great bible study.

This is a very good pamphlet. It gives quotes from the Bible on seven different subjects and then quotes from several different cults on the same subjects. It shows quite clearly how these cults cannot be considered Christian and why they only lead to destruction. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent pictoral review of a lovely home recently built in the Wisconsin countryside. The book is full of great ideas for both interior and especially exterior architectural details. As an interior and architectural designer, I have stolen ideas extensively for a Scandinavian style home I am working on which is currently under construction. The house featured in the book is beautifully done, but not for those seeking a subtle take on the Swedish/Scandinavian home. Disneyesque could aptly describe the overall look and feel of the home. This is not to say it does not have a great charm, but it slams its design concepts home with no punches pulled. It is an American interpretation and distillation of Scandinavia.
There are a lot of great ideas for color and design for the built interiors, but I found the interior furnishings and accessories to be ameteurish and do not live up to the professional standard of the architecture that contains it. The furnishings are rather middle of the road contemporary country style and do not suit the carefully orchestrated design concepts of the architectural designer. For instance the sofas are large and clunky, and are upholstered in a bland fabric - none of which would ever been found in a house of this type of traditional Swedish home.
With that caveat I highly recommend the book to those who admire the Scandinavian style and especially to anyone planning to design and build a home in this style.

As a folk artist, I am interested in European interior design. My interest in Swedish design lies in the magnificient use of color. This book provided what I needed.

I'm fascinated with Carl Larsson's home, and have long wished to recreate that same feel in a modern home. Not being an architect or interior designer, I find it hard though to translate the essence of Carl Larsson and charming old-world Scandinavian design into modern details. This book shows it all. The magnificent home featured is packed with charm without being gaudy. It's also packed with ingeniously creative solutions to practical needs. Full of color photos, it's eye-candy worthy of coffee-table display, and yet is practical enough to be a workbook during the planning stage of a building/remodeling project. It's now my "Dream Home Bible".

A good little book that asks you a lot of detailed questions, which makes you dig into your Bible for answers. Worked good for our group.

Keepers playing Call of Cthulhu from behind a screen are doing it all wrong. They would have a hard time weaving a story with a barrier in the way.

However, screens have their uses, mainly as a quick reference for charts and as a means of hiding maps and dice rolls. The "Call of Cthulhu Keeper's Screen" does the job just fine, and organizes the charts in a logical manner. The artwork on the front is not great, and could use improvement. It can be distracting to players.

The main defect of this screen is the misprint where they did not add the numbers to the "Strength vs. Resistance" chart. This is one of the most important charts in the game, and I am gobsmacked that such a major defect made it onto the market.

If you are running "Call of Cthulhu," it will be useful to have a screen. Just beware of the limitations.

Well, a screen is pretty much a screen. This one has some really excellent art on the backside, and a lot of good info on the Keeper side. One of the best things, to me, on the Keeper side, is a list of sections in the rulebook, and what page they can be found on. That comes in handy a lot when you want to look up something not on the screen. They made effective use of the space on the screen, for the most part. My only beef is what I guess is a misprint, the result of poor editing/proofing. The handy resistance table is, of course, on the screen. This is one of the most important things to have on the screen for this game system, for me, since it's one of the very few charts or tables you are likely to use with CoC. And it's screwed up. There are black bars across the top of the table and down the sides, but there should be NUMBERS on those bars for you to cross-reference, but there aren't. I printed up new bars on my computer and glue-sticked 'em on, but this shouldn't be necessary, especially since a little more care put into proofing the material before sending it off to the printer could have avoided this glaring mistake. I love CoC, but this sadly seems about par for the course with Chaosium.

The screen also comes with a booklet containing a highly-decent adventure set in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It's nothing ground-breaking, nor is it particularly long, but neither is it fluff thrown in as mere filler, either. It's not at all a bad adventure.

Finally, there are also foldout charts, one with weapons, and one with spells. Both are pretty handy. Some of the "Spot rules for whatever" from the rulebook are reprinted on these loose pages, as well as some blank character sheets.

Overall, a decent product for the price, but a far cry from being "the essential Keeper's aid." If you like to have a cool screen to use, this is a good one, if you don't mind correcting the resistance table on it. You also get some handy stuff along with it, but there is nothing here that, to me, makes this product stand out as anything more than average.
