this book is a great example of a real live experience. alot of kids felt the same as LB, that he/she feels like a baby wearing a diper to bed. so they try and try and try not to wet the bed and after well you get the picture. this book is great for kids that have that problem.

What I have to say is complex, yet simple. I was a bedwetter who had tried everything, my parents tried the best they could to help. I wet the bed until I was sixteen years old. I was unable to do sleepovers like other children. At sixteen and deeply emotionally scarred I stopped wetting and was still hurting from the years of embarrasment. At the age of 20 I was volunteering in a library and shelved this book. I read it at that time and I was somehow healed of my wounds. I have searched for it since in every book store and now I have found it, thank God for Amazon.com. I cannot wait for the oppurtunity to share this treasure with my children.

I thought this book was a great way to introduce children to fire safety. The pictures are all photographs of real life situations that children can relate to. Each page discusses a different aspect of fire safety. They warn children to be careful but also explain how we use fire every day. This book and others like it inform children about fire in a language they can understand. This book is easy to read and the tougher words include a phonetic spelling to make reading easier.

From baby to big bunny, LB doesn't go anywhere without his pacifier. Then after a visit to the dentist, he starts with a plan to put it away forever. He starts slowly but soon discovers that there is more to life than having a pacifier.

Little Bunny learned to crawl, walk, dance, and even talk with his pacifier in his mouth. Little Bunny loves his pacifier, but when he visits the dentist, Dr. Hopper explains that it is time to put it away. Little Bunny wants to be a big bunny, but can he give up his favorite thing? Kathy Parkinson's colorfully charming, full color illustrations wonderfully enhance Maribeth Boelts' entertaining story for very young readers about the need to eventually outgrow comfortable and comforting habits like the use of pacifiers, security blankets, or nightlights.

I think that kids my age (7)should read this book. If they have a frisky little sister like me, they're going to babysit her soon and they will need to know these things.
