It is hard to believe the story really took place. Once you start reading it, you won't be able to put it down. I found myself actually getting angry on certain characters in the book and cried when others died. That shows how the story takes you away, you'll forget everything else. I'm trying to buy this book ever since I read it the first time, 3 years ago. So far I haven't been able to find it anywhere, except now, in Large print. It is a great book, especially if you're interested in Northern-Ireland and its history, you have to read it!

Removes the unnescesary mathematical approach to the introduction of the stiffness method. Even an undergraduate can understand with minimal effort. This has to be the best introductory text to the stiffness method as it paves the way for further understanding of the more advanced topics such as finite elements.

If you have an illustration or text description of Scottish arms and no idea to whom they belong, this is an excellent place to start.
