This is a fun little book even if you know only a shred about baseball. It's a wonderful story about the thoughts in people's minds and of their experiences as they are part of a momentous event...be it a part from a distance or from practical participation. There are tornado warnings (literally), bad luck at the concession stand, and a truly hilarious event involving an oblivious telephone operator. From an entertainment aspect, it may include a limited amount of volume for a novice fan, but as a baseball junkie and from an historical AND entertainment perspective...a copy of this book was one of my father's most precious childhood gifts.

This book is a one of a kind. You don't hear the details from some random author, you get the true facts from Hank Aaron. This book was not only filled with facts, it was also very amusing. You got to hear some behind the scene stories from Hank himself. It also left you sitting on the edge of your seat. You didn't want to put it down. If you want to read a great sports book that doesn't bore you to death, this is a book for you.

This book is another way to get Larry some money because he won't be playing ball next year....he needs his money so he is calling on his sheep to help him.

This book was one of the best book I had read. If you are a true Braves fan you should read this book. Every Braves fan should have. Chipper is playing next year.

This is an amazing book for any Chipper Jones fan. Chippers' father comments on his upbringing and it also contains stories from the Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox. Chipper is an outstanding ballplayer and is definitely "A Brave Legend in the Making!"
