Excellent
The University of Chicago Math Series is excellent as an self-study or in-classroom math series. I prefer it over other curriculums I have used.

"Chicago Math" Algebra text is Excellent!
Our 14 yr. old (homeschooled) daughter just completed this University of Chicago's Algebra textbook. She found the text complete, thorough, and very easy to follow! She found it to be an almost completely 'self taught' course! She also enjoyed the colorful pictures, extra projects sections, and the interesting sidenotes which included world trivia topics. We have been successfully using the Saxon math text books for all of our lower grade math work thus far, and were somewhat reluctant to try something "new" and different. But right from the start, our daughter LOVED the Chicago math, and welcomed the change. I just wish that there had been a text like this for me, her mother, when I was struggling through Algebra back in the '70's. We would highly recommend this math textbook, and it's clear solution manual to ANYONE studying Algebra! Go ahead and try something different this year!

for lifelong study
this is not just another beautifully written book about Chassidus. This book is studied as a textbook as deeply as Gemara is by orthodox rabbis before getting ordained as a rabbi. It is THE textbook to Chassidus and, incidently, a great primer to the world of Kaballa.

Author: Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi
The author of the Tanya is Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi. (1745-1812) Written for those "who are in pursuit of righteousness and seek the L-rd" this book explains how to love and fear G-d in a "lengthy and brief" way.

The Absolutely Authoritative Version of the Rambam
The Ofeq Institute has provided a wonderful service in publishing this facsimile version of the Rambam's Mishneh Torah, Sefer HaMadda' and Sefer Ahavah, along with the Rambam's text of the Siddur. There are some significant differences between this version and those of the standard printed version, the Frankel version, and even the Qafih version. Often, these differences in text can help in understanding and analyzing a passage in question. I have developed some shiurim which utilize the text of the Ofeq Rambam to clarify what I found to be difficulties in the Rambam, and for those situations alone, the Ofeq Rambam was absolutely invaluable. Any serious student of the Rambam owes it to himself to utilize this great resource in his learning! I recommend it with great enthusiasm!

This is One of the Best Math Textbooks I Have Ever Had!
I really enjoyed this textbook. The authors of this book really did a good job making you enjoy math. I used to hate math, but this book was an exception. They greatly explain theorems and other things so you won't get confused. One way I liked this book was its many math related photos. Also if you are confused on a lesson they have answers in the back in the book to help you to check your work or give you answers to things you are struggling in. They also have in class lessons so you can understand the concepts you are about to learn in the lesson and homework. They also greatly explain how to do proofs, and everything that involves triangles and trionometry to statistics and functions. They give you reviews and self-tests with all the answers in the back of the book so you can master the information you have just learned in the chapter. Also, I recommend this to anyone who loves math, anyone who is ok or great in math, or anyone who justs wants to learn trigonometry. Finally, all the teachers I have ever had me use UCSMP this book have always loved the books, the material that the studnets grasp easily, and the benefits that the book gives over other textbooks.

A refreshing guide for beginners! I wish I had this sooner.
Every year during the High-Holidays I recall sitting in the Synagogue, wondering what all the prayers mean, their relevance, etc. This year I was fortunate to find this easy-to-understand guide. It walked me step-by-step through the entire services for BOTH Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur. It is written for everyone, even those with very little or no background (like me). I'm sure you will find something of interest for yourself in this fact filled book. A very nice production indeed. There should be more books like this out there. This one is a good start.

A wonderful tool for prayer!
The prayer service can sometimes be confusing. When to read this or that, sit or stand - it can get overwhelming! I say "can" because with this siddur (prayer book), things have just gotten a lot easier.

The text is taken from the instructions of the first Rabbi of Chabad-Lubavitch. He culled over dozens of different versions of the siddur to find the text that best expressed the one, all-encompassing way we were meant to pray to our Creator.

Both physically and spiritually appealing, the is a must for anyone else "lost in prayer"!
