I think that the movie was really good. However, I think it left out some important aspects as what lead up to the tragic end. I also think that her parents should be held accountable for her actions. Because they knew that she was ill and they ignored the obvious. On the other hand, her husband did try to help her but he did not do enough.

More Frightening Than Any Horror Novel!
Without a doubt, this is the most terrifying book I have ever read. The authors relate Dann's disintegration in horrific detail, and depict her, hurricane-like, destroying mutiple lives as she comes to her own violent end.

Could it happen to you?
After reading 'Day of Fury' about the Laurie Dann tragedy, I was hoping that there would be another book out there to bring more facts to the table. I found just that in 'Murder of Innocence'. I think this book goes more in depth than the Egginton book. Especially concerning Laurie's activities outside of the Chicago area, specifically her college days. This book brings out the methodical way Laurie would 'set up' an incident and seemingly follow it up with a hollywood performance. The made-for-TV movie starring Valerie Bertinelli doesn't do this book or story justice. Only Oliver Stone could....lol. A must read for anyone from Chicago or even the Madison, Wisconsin area.
