Yuzo Takada weaves an amazing story about a three-eyed girl named Pai, who calls upon the help of pseudo-transvestite Yakumo Fuuji. They then embark to Hong Kong after a run in with Takuhii a giant bird man. At that incident Yakumo turned immortal for reasons i can not spoil.

This is a humerouse fantasy/horror comic.It's full of action and bravery while entertaining the reader with witty remarks and new suprises. The main characters are Pai a three eyed monster who teams up with Yakumo. Together they must recapture the statue that contains the secret of mortality. This is one of a kind series that will start you laughing and on the edge of you'r seat.

3X3 Eyes: Blood Of The Sacred Demon is the fourth and latest graphic novel of the popular manga (Japanese comic) series by Yuzo Takada, about an immortal three-eyed demon girl who yearns to become human and the cursed, indestructible young man with whom she shares her soul. Pai has had her memory and her third eye sealed away, and she is leading a normal life blissfully unaware of who and what she really is. Yet Yakumo is determined to reawaken her, if only because the evil forces that seek to subvert her power can never be beaten back while she remains unaware. Fans of the animated version will notice significant variations in the original source comic, including a different twist ending to the pair's battle with a ruthless marionette! Highly recommended for fans of dark fantasy action-adventure, as are the previous three volumes: House Of Demons, Curse Of The Gesu, and Flight Of The Demon.

Well I baught this book from others reviews and I thought it was sapost to be awsome. But I didn't care for it much. Than again I'm more a Sci-fi fan and not a fantasy fan. This is the second book of the manga series 3x3 eyes. I havn't figured out the plot yet but what it's about is a guy who is a zombie and is protecting this demon who has split personalities. He runs into this ungly demon who wants to become immortal(the zombie is immortal) and the demon with split personalities kills the other demon. The only thing I think is okay is the drawing, but the story and plot kindof sucks. I don't recomend this book for younger viewers cause it has some brief nudity and fantasy violence.

I love 3x3 Eyes. It's one of the first Anime I ever saw and the first manga I ever read. Even re-reading it now it's still amazing.

The main reason is Yakumo. Yakumo is an ordinary Tokyo teenager. Unlike most supernatural stories, he's no martial artist, he doesn't delve into magic. He likes bikes and he lives alone and he's completely unremarkable.

Until he becomes immortal. He gains no super-strength, he still can't fight, he's got no magic. He just can't die. And since most of the stuff that's after him is really kickin, his strategy is to throw himself at the bad guys and while they're beating him to a bloody pulp, Pai (the girl he's protecting) can run to safety.

He also still feels pain. Immortality is really a kind of torture for him. Later on in the series, he takes some time out and learns to fight. However, the enemies get stronger and he's back to his original strategy.

I think it's a really fresh and interesting view of immortality. And there's loads of humour and quirkyness in it it. 3x3 Eyes has lots of good points, but that's my favourite and what really makes it stand out.

3X3 eyes, or "Sazan Eyes" is the name of a well-written manga series by Takada Yuzo. It is a supernatural story mixed together with romance, comedy, and loads of violence (and blood).

Fujii Yakumo was a normal high school teenager. Well, the series starts when he's 17 but he has to drop out when he died/became immortal. He also works half time in Culture Shock, a *coughcoughcoughgaybarcoughcough* in Shinjuku ^_^.

Yakumo's father is an archeology professor that traveled to Tibet to study the legend of the Sanjiyan Unkara (meaning 3 eyes or triclops). He died there from natural cause while trying to get out of Yunnan (a Chinese province near Tibet) and after acquainting with Pai. Before he died, Yakumo's father understood that Pai wished to become a human and therefore sent a letter with her to Yakumo. (Why does Pai want to become human? The Sanjiyan Unkara are beautiful,LONG LIVING, creatures. As the old ones, become...old, the longer sanjiyan are more emotional and develop split personalities. The Sanjiyan believe this mental thing will kill them all (their ultimate end ^^) and so want to become human.)

When Yakumo meets Pai and...reads his father's letter, he's a little...overwhelmed and doesn't quite believe the story. Until Takuhi (meaning "man bird"), who (I think) attacked Yakumo and...killed him. But as he was dying, Pai, or Parvati IV, merged her soul with his, making him immortal, a "wu" (none/void/nothing). Yakumo is now...wahla! The living dead, or some kind of zombie. However, Yakumo is pretty much the same, the "wu" can eat, have emotions, so forth. Except, he'll never bleed to death, can heal himself, and grow back an arm or leg he loses in combat. Creepy, huh ^_^?
So, now, Pai and Yakumo start searching for Ningen no Zou (Statue of Humanity), a statue that can make Sanjiyan humans by using 3 sanjiyans, striping two of the sanjiyan's powers from them and tranferring them to the third. It's not going to be easy though, will demons and evil also going after the statue and making sure nothing stands in its way.

Sazan Eyes is truly a good story and I really enjoyed it. There are some nudity, and other things above PG in it however, so I recommend it for 17+ or people who don't care much about hentai.
