pretty cool
I just got done reading this book. It's about a young college student who hates college life and is a romantic at heart. She finds an old house on the top of a hill and finds old love letters from a woman and a man at vietnam during the war. She reads all of the letters (aparently they're under a year old) and feeds the cat that they left behind. Well Marcus (the guy from the war) has amnesia. He finds his way home and sees Vivian playing on the piano in the house. He thinks Vivian his is long lost Lisa because she looks so much like her. Well Vivian has fallen in love with Marcus from reading the letters. She does this because all the guys at her college are jerks only interested in sex. And Marcus is a romantic man who wants to love and be loved. So Vivian "steals" Lisa's identity. The only thing she doesn't know is, Lisa was married to another man named Jack (Marcus's best friend) and had an affair with Marcus. Jack was wounded in the war and couldn't have sex anymore. Lisa had gotten pregnant and the next thing you know, when Jack finds out, Lisa, her daughter, and Jack all are killed HORRIBLY. And Marcus dissapears and comes down with amnesia. Now that Vivian has stolen Lisa's identity, history is gonna repeat itself.

It was a pretty good book, but it was rather boring at the beginning. But it did LEAD up to a great ending, a very sad one.
