This slave book was the best one we read.
I liked this book because I like Indians. They are friendly. This book was exciting because Pa got bit by a snake. Another thing I liked was how they almost died. They faced Indians who were friendly, but Ginny's family thought they were mean. Pa faced a rattler that poisoned him. They also had little water in the desert. They were trying to get to freedom. All of these incidents made the book interesting.

Wonderful
This was one of the best Novellas that I have read. Janice and Kayla's story could have had there on book. The stories were written very well and I did not want them to end.

I really could not get into Courtni's story it was kind of weird.

But the book is a very good read and you will truly enjoy it.

A Very Special Love
"The Keys to My Heart" - I loved this story about Gabriel Merrick and Kianna. Even though the story was written around tragedy, this love bloomed and took its time to develop. Great Reading.

"A Mother's Love" - This story dragged and was very boring in spots.

"Maternal Instincts" - This story dwelled on the relationship a mother has with a daughter and what changes the mother wants to make in order for history not to repeat itself. I think every woman loves a man in uniform (whether literally or not). The basic tale of a cop and the store manager with a child was very interesting. Great Job.

You¿ve gotta read this!
A Very Special Love is a heartwarming book. Each story is a great tribute to moms - both natural and surrogate. My hands-down favorite of all the stories is "The Keys To My Heart". As always, Janice Sims had me completely drawn into the story of Gabriel and Kiana, and their niece Courtney. As in her other works, Ms. Sims also pays tribute to strong family bonds - heck I was beginning to feel like a part of the family!

The story starts out with the family facing a tragedy that will absolutely rip tears from your eyes. But by the you get to the mind-blowing climax of the story, you will also have experienced many more emotions. Each character is well defined and contributes to the myriad emotions the reader will feel.

Kayla Perrin's "Maternal Instincts" is also very nice. This is my first time reading any of Ms. Perrin's work - I'm looking forward to reading more from her.
