My parents bought this picture book for me when I was very very young, and I still treasure it. "Very Special Baby" is a beautiful story about the long, hard journey of Mary and Joseph and the remarkable birth of Jesus. This simple, yet wonderful Christmas story is one everyone should have. If I had to pick my favorite Christmas book as a child, this would be the one. The pictures are superb and the words repetitive, and extremely easy for young ones to understand.
