I really enjoyed this book! As a First Grade teacher it is so nice to see multicultural stories written for children. This story journeys from New York to Japan and as far as Africa. It introduces the reader to ways to say hello in three languages. The sounds on the book were created by Stevie Wonder in his studio and fit the text very nicely. I plan on using this book in my class as a way to open a discussion on blindness and an introiduction to Braille!

Stevie Wonder and Lula Hardaway showed courage in telling this deep, sensitive and great story. Stevie WOnder owes his mother more than just a thank you and so do we. It is one of the most fascinating biographies I've ever read. It made me cry.

I loved Blind Faith. The story is compelling and it keeps your attention through and through. Lula Hardaway is simply amazing and Stevie is certainly a gift. Blind Faith in one word: wonderful!

Lula Hardaway showed so much faith in this story. She allowed her husband to make her do things I wouldn't dream of, but she did it for the sake of her children and she can hold her head up high. Stevie Wonder can hold his head up high because his mother has an exciting and uplifting biography and it was told with a lot of flare and a lot of skill by the authors. They should be proud.

Great selection of songs but the arrangements are a bit awkard. They tend to put the melody an octave higher than it should be. Almost all of the songs are in keys that have five flats or five sharps. Isn't She Lovely ends up sounding like it's from a Vaudeville Act, totally cheezy arrangement. But I still love Stevie Wonder and it's worth playing around with.
