This is positively one of the most amazing books I own. The photographs, color and clarity are remarkable -- Art Wolfe truly captures the spirit of Africa. As you flip through the pages, each image more stunning than the next, you begin to feel like you are IN Africa. A must for any safari adventurer, animal lover or anyone curious about the continent.

A friend recommended this book as I've been reading a lot about Sarah, Duchess of York, and I was interested in Steve Wyatt's background.

The author writes in an easy style as she tells the history of these families who are a large part of Texas history. I had not heard much about any of them. Texas folks probably would like to read about them, but I found them boring. I've given it five stars for her writing.

There are some interesting things about how retail stores have changed over the years and how customer service has deteriorated.

I think that only Texans would be interested in the parts about oil and gas companies.

This book proved to be a very good read.You are shown how the
Murchison family went from fantastic wealth to bankruptcy.This
family was able to obtain a massive fortune through their huge
sucess in the oil fields of Texas. They were even able to purchase an island off of the Gulf of Mexico. You are also
treated to a history of them owning the Dallas Cowboys.During
their time of ownership they went from being the worst team in
professional football to winning the Superbowl.Their decline in wealth is also shown. This is a good history of the oilfields of
Texas. Read this.You will enjoy it.
