Bedside reading, it is not, but I found this to be an extremely useful resource in planning my research proposal for a doctoral dissertation of my own. It's good to know what else is out there already, and this (apparently) has all the dissertations produced in North America in the last century. The arrangement by topic makes it easy to find the relevant info all in one place. It's also interesting to see a few of the names (like Lee Hollander) that now grace the spines of more substantial works of scholarship on the subject, with descriptions of some of their earlier work.
