Very good book, thousand illustrations

As Comprehensive As It Gets
From the earliest to the newest and all points in between. Cars from America as well as cars from overseas. Probably every known car and car maker are in this book. Packed full of information so much that it seems almost impossible to believe that their is so many cars that have been built throughout this span of time. Could be more detailed however on certain cars such as the Cobra Jet Mustang, or others, but all in all very immense in facts and scaled to such a wide variety of cars that it doesn't leave many out if any at all.

Really Helps Improve Your Math Skills!
I wasn't a very good math student until I got this book. But after reading it and doing the problems, I'm proud to say I've raised my math grade! This book was written in an easy-to-read and understand format, and the "star" character, Chi, throws in a lot of humor into this book. The book starts off with a chapter of basic math skills, than moves on to chapters with things like fractions, percents, algebra, roots and exponents, geometry, and more! This is the best book for anyone who is having trouble with math and needs a book to help them raise their grades!

Growing Slowly Wise: Building a Faith That Works

Another great book by Roper.
Growing Slowly Wise is a great study of the book of James and helps to explain the apparent contradiction of Paul's writings with that of James' in regard to faith and works. As Paul would say (Romans 3:28) we are not saved by works, but by faith and faith alone; whereas, James states that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. This apparent contradiction has bothered me since my first reading of James and Roper does a great job weaving the two together into a complete message on faith building. As always Roper shows the reader how the translation of the bible may cause confusion in our interpretation. From James' perspective and to quote Roper "saving faith will always manifest itself in loving deeds." Of course the book touches on many other subjects that are also included in the book of James and Roper does a great job here too. This book could easily be used for group Bible studies, although the leader would need to develop study questions for each chapter. The book contains an introduction and 19 chapters and each chapter can be read in a few minutes. I have rated the book as 5 stars, but my favorite Roper book remains In Quietness and Confidence. This new book comes in a close second. My hat is off to you David Roper you have another winner. Now, take a day off and go fishing.

A must for the definitive cloak and dagger collection...
Not only is this a masterfully written book, but Wise (I suspect) reveals tidbits that many within the ranks of the CIA were surprised to read. Best read in one sitting.

Absolutely Outstanding
A very fair coverage of the issues raised by the abysmal TV show The Valour and the Horror. Including the report of the CBC Ombudsman, as well as the rebuttal by Galafilm, the meat of this book is the detailed anaylysis by several distinguished Canadian historians. Even and balanced, written in a very scholarly way with extensive notes, this book is an effective tool in deconstructing the flawed TV series and understanding the basic objections raised by scholars and enthusiasts alike. An absolutely brilliant book.

On-target in today's confusing medical technology
After reading Emmett and Clark's book, I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with a loved one's death or terminal illness. In an age of confusing medical technology and loss of moral compass, Emmett and Clark provide sound biblical guidance. This book was very readable as well as providing sound and succinct information about this difficult issue. Thank you Drs. Emmett and Clark for prividing a light in a very dark field.
