As a teacher of Elementary School social studies, this book has become an invaluable resource for my classroom. The format is easily read and understood by students. It has a wealth of information about each Texas Indian tribe. This book is much easier to read and understand than any other book on the subject that I have found. A must-have for every classroom and library. A classroom set makes it much easier for students to do their research, since they fight over a single copy!

The detailed nursing implications of each drug make the monitoring of patient care for side effects and interactions more reliable and complete. The listing of interactions with other medications is a valuable tool. This book explains in nursing language the physiological action and use, gives details of adverse reactions and what to look for, as well as drug absorption and interference with diagnostic tests. A valuable tool for care planning and client teaching.

This is or seems to be the newest version of the Drug reference known to me as the Govoni & Hayes "Drugs and Nursing Implications" reference book, which I searched for by name unsuccessfully for weeks. In my opinion this is THE most complete and easy to use drug reference. And it is now available in a much easier to carry around smaller size. I strongly recommend this for Nursing Students because of the way it is formatted. Drugs are listed alphabetically by generic name which is how most hospital pharmacies dispense them.

I have been using the drug guides by this publisher since 1994. It is a great resource and has saved me a lot of time that I would've wasted trying to wade through the PDR. I am a budding medical transcriptionist, learning the trade. One of the ways I learn is to have good references on hand to look up medical terms and drugs. This book has helped me out perhaps 50% of the time. It simply does not have all the drugs I need. If you are looking for a quick consumer reference, this may be just the thing, but on the other hand, it does not have everything. Look elsewhere for complete information.

This is a good book for a fast reference to drug information. It's a compact little book that gives you the generic and trade name of the drug, drug action, contraindications, drug interactions and other helpful information about the drug you may want to search for. It also has a handy medical abbreviations list for a quick reference of medical abbreviations. For the price, it is a good deal. Don't regreat getting this little drug guide. If you can't afford PDR or Drug Facts and Comparisons this one can help a lot.

This book took me forever to finish (although, I did). It was a good enough story, but there were a lot of parts that were boring and I was disapointed that the author never introduced us to the twin sister who I read so much about. This story mostly consisted of the love/hate struggle of Blaise & Morgana...I love him this chapter...I hate him the next. The ending seemed like the author had reached her deadline and bam! End of story.
