Like an old favorit t-shirt
This book is about a period of time between love affairs in a lesbian's life. It was funny, witty, just one of those books that you feel comfortable reading and is easy to indentify with. If you need a book to take your mind off of things and just lay back and relax, that's the book.

REEL TIME is real fun!
Julia Willis's REEL TIME is perfect for a lazy, rainy Sunday. Laney is very likable and witty and her takes on things from classic films to dogs to love and life will have your stomach shaking and your head nodding. It's like spending time with a favorite friend. A big plus for fans of old movies,Willis' references to such movies as BRINGING UP BABY and NOW VOYAGER make you smile!

If you have a cat, then you must have plenty of Meow-mories!
For anyone who has ever brought home a new kitten and experienced the joys and pains of watching it grow into a mature cat, there is finally an accessory that no kitten owner should be without -- a baby book especially for the feline species.

The wonderfully clever baby book for cats entitled "Meow-Mories: A Place for Kitten Notes and Cat Fancies Recorded by Non-Biological Parents of Fabulous Felines" by Julia Willis, is a delight to read whether or not you currently own a kitten whose growth and antics need recording.

As any cat lover knows, there will be another kitten in your life, whether you're looking for one or not. At the most inopportune moment, a four-footed furry stray will happen upon your doorstep and, upon your first meeting, you'll be in for the long haul. You may as well have the hilariously funny "Meow-Mories" on your shelf so you'll be ready . . .

The book, with amusing illustrations by cat-loving cartoonist, Chris Suddick (whose cartoon strip, "Off 101" appears each week in the San Jose Mercury News), is divided in to six chapters, which starts with "When Kitty Arrives," and goes through the settling-in stage, the wonder months, birthdays and holidays, and finally ends with "Animal Stirrings" (self-explanatory, almost) and, the last chapter, "All Grown Up."

Obviously, since this is a "baby" book, it is interactive, which means there are blank spaces for filling in important information about your kitten as well as entire empty pages for precious photos to be placed during your kitten's development.

Just as parents of human infants record their child's name, date of birth and color of fur, oops, I mean hair, you will want to record similar things in your kitten's baby book. As your kitten's life progresses, you will want to record those momentous occasions in kitty's life, such as its first escape attempt and the first time it was stuck up in a tree (Who knows? Perhaps some peculiar human parents record these events as well).

This book is fun to read and a must to own! Your next kitten will thank you as you faithfully record all of its precious and unique "Meow-Mories!"
