The Classic Mother Goose Edited by Armand Eisen
We received this book as a gift for our son's first birthday, and he has loved it to death! He loved to fill in the missing words as we read to him, and quickly learned all of his nursery ryhmes. Now at age 2, he is rediscovering this treasure...he has fallen in love with the illustrations all over again, and he understands the meaning and humor in these wonderful rhymes!

This book changed my life for the better.
I got this book when I was little and now I want this book for my little girl. My favorite nursery rhyme is the one about the Crooked man. I reccommend everyone buying this book for their children.

A perfect collection of nursery rhymes.
The Classic Mother Goose is the perfect book to introduce nursery rhymes to kids of all ages. The illustrations in this book captivate the smallest children and they will choose this book over and over again as a favorite for bedtime stories. My kids read our first copy to death. That is the true test of how good a book is.

A VERY GOOD BOOK, AND A VERY NICE LADY! A MUST READ!
This is one of, no the best book I have ever read. Ashela, Sam, and Kyliah were well developed characters. I could not put this book down. I read Preconceived Notions, and loved it also, but Twist of Fate is by far Robyn's best book. I am so proud to call her a friend. I can easily picture this book as a movie, a movie that I would go see over and over again. I will definitely reread this book, over and over again. My book club, (the Black Book Club Online) will read this book in May, and I can't wait to see if everyone loves this book as much as I do (I'm sure they will). The information on the music industry was so accurate, that I had to remind myself that the book wasn't real. Robyn, I want to thank you for writing a book that I have truly loved, from start to finish. Keep up the good work girl. I know, and I hope you know, that you are going places far.

WHAT MORE CAN I SAY-----SPLENDID, FABULOUS, SUPERB!
Well folks, Robyn has done it again. She really knocked my socks off with "Twist of Fate." I loved the way she took the lead character, Ashela Jordan, through so many trials and tribulations only to have victory in the end. Ashela had such a strong spirit to endure everything that she did. Through the midst of it all, she meets a strong black man named Sam Ross. They have the type of relationship that only people dream about and the romance........well you have to check the book out yourself! I read this book in one weekend. As SIZZLING HOT as it was, I just couldn't put it down. It has been a while since I read a page-turner such as this book. Robyn Williams is truly a talented author and I can't help comparing her to the likes of Toni Morrison, Alice Walker, and Terri McMillian. Though she has her own style that no other can touch with a ten foot pole, Her name will be among the great authors. I can't wait for the next book. Keep up the FABULOUS work Robyn :-)

Heart wrenching.
I can't say enough about Robyn Williams' A Twist of Fate. She provides the reader with a complex view of love and relationships from a refreshing perspective. Ashela Jordan is her most appealing creation: beautiful, intelligent, tough, and secure. We are with her from the moment her music aspirations are obliterated to her fantastic rise to the heights of a successful songwriting career. Sections about the senator and the drug addict's obsession were truly ingenious. Who would have ever thought of this? I was completely wrapped up in this book, even the friend's death scene surprised me. How horrible, I was crying so hard. I was, however, not a fan of the ending. If the ending had been different, I would have been more pleased. I would have liked to have known how Sam reacted to the knowledge that he had a three-year old son. I would have liked to have seen him grovel a bit more before Ashela accepted him back into her life, and I would like to have known more about how Kyliah and Arron ended up. All in all, A Twist of Fate has just the right combination of suspense and erotica to keep the reader enthralled from cover to cover.

Strong Characterization/Lots of Action
With "Preconceived Notions" Robyn Williams wrote a memorable story filled with strong characterizations and a varied storyline. I loved the characters Imagany Jenkins, Elliott Renfroe and Caprice McKnight. Imagany's life was filled with drama as she fought to rise above childhood demons, a problematic relationship with a rich but controlling former boyfriend, and romantic challenges with football player Elliott Renfroe. I enjoyed the intimate scenes between Imagany and Elliott. They are detailed without going overboard. You feel like you're in the room with these two lovers. (Hmmm!). I must admit I didn't care for how the book ended because it seemed unrealistic, but other than that the story was well written and engaging. I'm glad to have come across Robyn's book and look forward to reading "A Twist of Fate".

Passion and Pleasure
Robyn Williams' Preconceived Notions is superb reading! For a first-time author, Ms. Williams is undoubtedly a master-weaver of words because the dialog between her characters is rich and colorful. Passion and emotions run high between the main players in this story as it's slowly revealed that each of them appear to have something to hide. This gives way to chance encounters and secret meetings that leave the reader in stitches as Imagany tries to weave her way out of every scrape she unwittingly falls into. Preconceived Notions is full of twists and pleasant surprises. Just when you think you know where the storyline is headed, another twist is introduced. I appreciated the way Ms. Williams took serious topics of abuse, incest, and even drug use and blended them in such a way that the characters still were able to come out on top. If it were possible, I'd rate this book more than five stars! Robyn Williams surely has a marvelous future ahead of her in the literary field.

A MUST READ.
Preconceived Notions was an excellent love story. Even after reading for the second time in two years, it was more intriguing and irresistible then the first time I read it (and each time I finished reading it in three days). The content of Preconceived Notion and the masterful use of words was such that it draws the reader into the pages. This story touches on many important issues, but the one that stands out is LOVE.

The love portrayed in this story is so holistic and unconditional: love in friendship(Caprice and Imagany), love in companship and relationships(Imagany and Elliot), love in families (as depicted in Zabree and Imagany's relationship). Robyn Williams captured in Elliot's character virtually everything I feel a real, strong Black man should be. Her depiction of his dedication, sensitivity, unconditional love and his very content was reassuring. It takes the idea or concept of a Stong Black Man and personifies it a character, a man, that every woman hopes to find. The reader experiences the sensuality in this book with ever word.

There was never a dull moment in the pages of this book. Each page delivers a twist that pulls the reader deeper into the story: child abuse, domestic violence, drugs, success. This is a definite must read.
