You Really Can Reinvent Yourself
Reinvention ... what a concept! This book maintains that reinvention is a chance to renew yourself and that the longer you live, the more opportunities you have for reinventing your life. How true. There are several great sections in this book including Getting Your Mind in Gear, Reinventing Your Body, Reinventing Your Career, Reinventing Your Relationships and Reinventing Other Aspects of Your Life. The cover says, you begin reinventing yourself when you purchase the book, and in this case, it is not a false claim. If you are ready to make a change, this book will
help.

A Needed Change !
Rarely have I encountered a book that is so methodically, comprehensively and yet amicable covers the topic of reinventing yourself. Like the author says, most of us are going to live a whole lot longer than we think, and are going to be findng ourselves in different occupations, maybe in different regions of the country or even different countries, living different kinds of life styles. This book gives great insights as to what kinds of chalenges might be on the horizon for you. I think that this would also be a good book to give to friends who are currently trying to find their way.

just what i needed
The idea of reinventing yourself, is appealing to me for many reasons. Since the terrorist attack, I have been reading how so many people are reevaluating their priorities and what is really important in life, but I was already thinking about these things before then. This book covers considerable ground, but is not difficult to get through. The author is kind of witty, and he has certainly done a lot of homework in terms of providing resources to help readers follow up on particular topics. I would recommend this book for lots of different reasons and in fact I am thinking giving some for Christmas.

A Must For Dreamers
Marcia Wieder's latest book is upbeat, user friendly and wraps it's arms around you as you read it.I know Marcia and have seen her in action many times. It is wonderful to see her creative and heartfelt energy that has helped thousands achieve their dreams, captured so brilliantly in this book. I believed I could create my dreams more and more as I read each page. I was especially impressed with the ease and flow I found as I went through the exercises. The stories of how other people created their dreams by using the many tools this book offers, was very inspiring and so believable that I was moved to say to anyone that has a dream, large or small, this book is a must.

Practical & Powerful
Just wanted to take the time to share my experience in reading this book with anyone considering buying it. Of all of the books I've read on the topic of success (personal & professional), this is by far the most practical and powerful step-by-step guide I've ever encountered. Marcia Wieder is a funny and captivating writer with a clear and focused approach to acheiving goals. I've read many books that have suggested ideas for creating success that simply were not suitable solutions that could be easily applied in my life. This book is different, the instructions in this book are written for the average person, not someone with the ability to just walk out of a job to pursue a dream of becoming something else. For some this may be a viable alternative, not for me. I needed help clarifying my dreams and an easy formula for manifesting these dreams in my life. This book has been more helpful to me than any other book I've read on the subject of acheiving goals, personal/professional success, etc. After reading this book, I began to identify what my passion was and how I could bring that passion into my everyday life without doing anything radical or unrealistic! This book is fantastic and I'm sure anyone who chooses to read it will not regret their decision!

Find Purpose and Passion in Your Life
I have read many types of books on self-improvement which have helped to improved my life, but this book has moved me beyond explanation. In just two hours, I have already read over half of the book while completing Marcia Wieder's valuable exercises. I am extremely excited because through these exercises I am discovering my true life's purpose and actually envisioning specific, tangible ways to accomplish my dreams.

By the way, I am a very practical minded woman with a secure, well-paying job in a Fortune 500 company. I also have three great children, a happy marriage, own a large home, am in excellent health with terrific friends, and I'm earning straight A's in college (among many other blessings). Still, I have not been content with how my life has developed and I couldn't quite pinpoint the problem. This book has left me with a renewed hope for a bright and exciting future. If something is missing in your life and you want to live it with passion, I highly recommend you get this book.

With interersting ideas but lack of depth
I read the amazon reader reviews before I bought the book. Yet I must admit that I am a bit disappointed with the purchase. The principles in the book about dream making is nothing new at all. The book tries to relate a concept of 'ease' with a life working towards your dream. But it is not very convincing to me. And the 5-step process on finding your dream is a typical method that can be found in many other self-help books.

Better than 7 Habits of Highly Sucessful People!
I've read lots of self-help books, especially on self-discovery, time management etc.

7 Habits is probably the best one for dealing with traditional time management. However, it doesn't help much when you are confused about what you want to do, your roles...

Doing Less and Having More focuses on figuring out what you want, overcoming your fears, and putting your dream life into action. It is densely packed with a variety of information that integrates a complete view of life management. Even though I am a natural speed reader, I was forced to stop and take breaks after every chapter just so I could think about its impact on my life.

One of the best books I've ever read and one I should re-read regularly in order to make these principles part of my life.

Excellent. Helps you *enjoy* making your dreams come true
I am re-reading portions of this book. Marcia Wieder's "Doing Less and Having More" is really inspirational. In my work as a speaker, author and motion picture director, I continually read books, and Marcia's book is *unique* and helps me develop ease for making my big dreams come true and finishing my film, "LIVING, the motion picture." I found Marcia's book so valuable that I read every word. I have seen Marcia give a workshop, and she's dynamic and uplifting -- in person. Her message is so powerful that I'm reading her new book, "Making Your Dreams Come True." Watch for her PBS special television program.
