Thought-provoking and Sensitive
The plight of Betty, a wistful little white cat with two different colored eyes, will tear the compassionate soul's heart. From her point of view, she tells of the wonderful life she enjoys with a family on vacation who took her in. She also relates how she's left behind at the end of the summer to fend for herself - no home, no food, no one to care for her - as thousands of other pets find themselves at summer's end.

All ages will enjoy this little book, but hopefully, all vacationing families will learn empathy and compassion the next time a homeless pet shares his or her life with them during vacation; when summer is over, all members, both old and new, will go home.
