For all you Tournament Fishermen that think you know all there is to know about bass fishing, this book is a must. Take it with you on your next trip. When the fishing gets slow, open it up; you will be surprised of all the tips it has to offer. I'm an avid fisherman and I've won my share of tournaments and I keep it with me on the boat for reference. Tip: try to learn one thing new on each outing. Good luck !!

Essential Textbook in this field
This is an essential textbook in the field of soft tissue tumors/sarcoma. I am a dermatologist and have bought them whenever this title has been revised. You can confirm the quality of this title by putting on bookshelf in all medical schools in Japan. (I haven't visiting libraries abroad, but I must be able to see it.) I recommend it not only dermatologist but also orthopedists and pathologists in the world!

The best soft tissue resource for pathologists
I first became familiar with this book a long time ago (first edition) through my mother, who is also a pathologist. This is "the" source for soft tissue tumors for residents and staff alike. The descriptions are concise, and the organization of chapters is good. This book is well-written and never dry. The literature is summarized very nicely. This is an outstanding source for soft tissue neoplasms. I recommend this book very highly.

Hugs for the Hurting Screen Saver
I have the screen saver and it is beautiful. Each day there is a soothing background, with uplifting quotes. There is also a more extensive quote available. It starts my day off perfectly, and we really appreciate it.

Fast track to soothing the soul
This is a book that made me feel as if it was written especially for me. It inspires as it soothes the soul. Its light reading and yet powerful. It touched me as no other book ever has and will always be by my bedside for those times when I need that special Hug. What wonderful book for a person who is being challanged emotionally or physically. Everyone should experince at least one Hug! Its a keeper.

Well written, important history
An exceptional book full of important historical detail. Weiss makes clear that Hitler's anti- semitism was not unique. That, in fact, German and Austrian society was permiatted for decades by hatred for Jews, Slavs, and Gypsys. He traces the roots of anti-Semitism. The writing is excellent and the presentation is logical and easy to follow. The only falt I found with this book is that Weiss mainly used secondary insead of primary sources.

The Most Comprehensive and Fascinating
There are thousands of books on this subject, many filled with fact, conjecture and feeling. This work has all of that and more: it convinces you that the Holocast was not the result of one man's demented ideology but that is was rather the result of a long history of racism and hate in Germany. While being scholarly, the book is not heavy-handed or dull. It lays out the scenario for murder with chilling detail, starting off with the Crusades and then running through the Reformation and Enlightenment before tackling Nazism, the end product of such ongoing thought. This book should be read by any and all desiring a full understanding of how the Holocaust came into being.

Food Plots are Hot
Planting Food Plots for Deer and Other Wildlife is a well written comprehensive book on food plots for wildlife. John Weiss is a respected outdoor writer who touches on a variety of wildlife subjects in his treatment of creating food plots and habitat for wildlife.
The book is easy to follow and very informative and will be a welcome addition to the libraries of land owners with an interest in wildlife.
Weisses treatment of food plots covers planting practices in some depth and will provide much useful information to beginers. Dougherty and Dougherty's new book "Grow 'em Right" picks up where Weiss leaves off and offers more in depth information on hunting, habitat development and food plots but together they make a nice book package. Add Alsheimer's new Quality Deer Managment book to the mix and you have it all.

Good book for hunting land owners/manager
As someone who is new to managing a hunting property for personal use, I found John Weiss' book to be a very valuable resource. Lots of information on where to start, what deer and other wildlife prefer in terms of vegetation, and on where and how much to plant. The book is primarily designed for someone who has a mixed field/hardwood property and who has the ability to put in some serious time to improve the habitat. It is well written and interesting and chocked full of information - good value for the money.

Wonderful
Our son lives in Colorado Springs and recently turned 30. I thought this a wonderful gift for a busy father of 5 year old twin daughters and a 3 year old son. I believe all of our young parents today need encouragement and reminders of how God is truly with them every step of the way. I especially enjoyed the section with the father and daughter walking in the woods and it appeared they were lost, but the daughter knew they were not lost for her Daddy always guided her in thr right direction, clearing showing the guidence our Heavenly Father gives us daily. I plan to purchase one for our other son and two daughter in-laws, "Hugs for MOM" and also a copy for a dear friend who is hurting, "Hugs for the Hurting" I recomend it for anyone. There are all types of Hugs, I purchased "Hugs from Heaven on Angel Wings" for myself. It is wonderful. In todays world everyone of us needs encouragement and these little books sure give it.

Lays out the basics
This is a great text for laying out the basics of what the WTO actually means for environmental problem-solving in global politics. The introduction is clear cut and accessible. The intros to each of the separate case studies: tobacco control; the reformulated gasoline case; the beef hormones case; the shrimp-turtle case; and a hypothetical GMO case are concise and readable. The bibliographies are invaluable. As in all anthologies, some of the individual chapters are uneven. Wish I could afford this book!

Currently viewed as the Bible of Soft Tissue Pathology
Drs. Enzinger and Weiss have been leaders in their field for quite some time. Their joint effort, Soft Tissue Pathology, is viewed as the Bible for diagnosing these difficult tumors. The book is appropriately organized, and well written. The photos, while still in black and white, are truely exemplary. Anyone who deals with these rare tumors, should have this book readily available.

Grab A Snowbear
My 10-month-old daughter loves this book, and so do I. The cloth pockets that allow you to place the little, stuffed Snowbear (attached to the book with a ribbon, of course) in the different scenarios are ingenious. Skye will sit on the floor with this book for long periods of time playing with Snowbear, and squeals with delight when we read the story together. One of my favorite things about the Bear In The Big Blue House board book series is that pictures of the actual characters are placed in colorful environments, which facilitate recognition. Skye and I both give it 5 stars.
