Reprint this book PLEASE!
This is one of my famlies favorite books. We were lucky enough to find it with a tape of music and my kids can't get enough of this book and it is almost 2 years later! The story is inspiring and really got my kids interested in rainforests and what they can too to help the enviorment! This book should be in all schools, libraries and made a great gift to my children. It breaks my heart that is is out of print when the money went to help such a great cause! IT IS Truely Magickal!

A great book for children.
There's something magical about this book..

Powers That Be
I found "Powers That Be" so true to life. It is so suspenceful, with so many twists and turns that you will not want to put it down until until you have read the last word. A man witnesses a murder, a faked suicide of a high level goverment official in a park in Washington DC. It will be the beginning of his worse nightmare as a gruesome conspiracy unfolds,a massive government coverup by police and other prominent officials, all the way to the oval office. Leading to a string of murders, gangland style. When his own wife and children are threatened they will die if he talks to the two detectives that have befriended and protected him, the moment of reckening is upon him. Can good triumph over evil? or will the conpirators prevail? I'll never tell.

Buck Clayton's Jazz World

A very readable and informative book on jazz and musicians.
Buck Clayton shows himself to be a most articulate musician, covering his life and times from the midwest to California to China. His period with Count Basie was, of course, the most important part of his career, and one wishes that Clayton had written more incisively about that time. But, he writes so well that the book is always entertaining, up to and including his later years when he was forced to play Dixieland music in order to work.
