This is the classic orthopaedic pediatric text, with updates to reflect the latest advances. It's very easy to read and would be extremely helpful for a junior or senior resident on an orthopaedic pediatric rotation.

A tremendous amount of not-so-easy to find information in one binding. The material covers all aspects of hemapheresis from machinery to disease processes. The text provides invaluable information needed for the ongoing education of professionals as well as those in training.

Mr. Weinstein's advice was right on. He gave hard facts and debunked the myth about job hunting. I had this book for several years now. I always go back to it whenever I need to re-evaluate my job and career goals. The book is also easy to read. No gimmicky nor theatrical messages. He got right down to the realities of job hunting. In the past employers took care of their employees. The employees in return gave loyalty. Times have changed. Job seekers and employees now have to take control of their own destiny if they are to survive today tough competitive job market.

Even though I won't be attending college until the year 2003 this book tells me a lot of things I need to know or should know before going to college. there were Some things about college that i didn't know until reading this book!

This terrific book is a great resource for parents, too! Even though my husband and I both went to college, so much has changed. This book provides a wonderful overview in a very engaging format. It greatly simplifies what is otherwise daunting. The authors were very clever in their choice of format - it really is designed just the way most kids will intially use it; all the interesting facts do capture their interest and their parents, too. It's one of those books that anyone who's been through the college application process - whether parent or student - has to pick up and say, "I wished I had that back then!"

Vroman's photographs are often without equal in their ability to capture timelessness and "being there". Many fascinating faces, personalities almost visible, of Hopi, Zuni, Laguna, Acoma, Navajo peoples, all taken in their pueblos or hogans.

Each photo has a detailed explanation of what is shown, including (often) the story behind it. This is probably the best collection of such photos between covers available on the people of this area, and most were taken between 1895 and 1904.
