Brilliant!
A delightful review of the world of Doctor Who as it stood in the 1970's. It includes many rare pictures from the series as well as publicity shots and behind-the-scenes photos. From Adams, Douglas to Zygons (Terror of), this is a wonderfully produced Master-piece! A truly great book for all Doctor Who fans!

the sixties is a true masterpiece
I've just read this wonderful book and it is WELL worthe reading so dont think twice about buying this book

If you love Who -- then get this book
This is my favorite non-fiction Doctor Who book of all time. The book is loaded with some never before seen footage and insightful data. The layout is wonderful and captures the decade that brought us Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker. My favorite chapter of the book features merchandise from the 70's -- so far the only Who book that addresses this aspect of the show.

Life Changing!
Every now and then you pick up a book that changes the way you see your world. Clear Horizon was that kind of book for me. Clear Horizon, along with the seminar and work book, opened my eyes to possibilities that I hadn't even realized existed for me. It helped me set goals that would take me in the direction I wanted to go in life, and then gave me the tools to see those goals through to successful completion. A Great Read
The book took me back to that time. It was very descriptive. I felt as though I were there with him every minute.

A stirring, well written history of early 20th century US
This is a beautifully written and presented book where the author transport you to a time and place before the complete assimilation of the American population. The Kennebec Valley is not home to the colorful fisherman that Mrs. Paul's fishsticks have made synonymous with Maine but with farming life that has all but vanished. The changes in the author and his family during the course of this work put you into the very frame that shaped so many from New England. A must read for any fan of early 20th century American history and for any fan of Americana in general

A great insight on sales force management
While other books try to teach the selling process, this piece of art helps you understand all the issues underlying in a sales force area, it's administation, the relationship with pre and post sales areas and the way to succeed in a managing position. One of the best books I've read on this subject.

A must-have book for undergraduate sudents and teachers.
I teach in one of the finest schools of Mexico, MBA Marketing and Field Force management topics, and was really tired of looking for comprehensive, complete and reasonable readings that covers the most important areas of managing a Sales Force. Churchil is a must-have text for both, college and high level (superior / undergraduate) students, since it really takes you through every important aspect of the topic.

A facinating look at the most popular Doctor
Tom Baker, for being the most popular actor ever to portray Dr. Who, has also stayed out of the sportlight. This book combines episode guides with collected interviews to form a facinating look at Baker's era as the Doctor. Really THE essential book on Tom's era as the Doctor

interesting for young readers
My six-year old just received this book as a present. He his obsessed with birds, but this is the first book on birds he owns that is not a field guide. The book is nicely laid out, with chapters on each of the different classes of birds such as songbirds, birds of prey, waterfowl. There are also chapters on bird behavior such as courtship and nesting. There seems to be an appropriate balance of stunning photographs and text. The text highlights the main points, example "Fast Fishing: Ospreys fly high over water, diving down at high speed to catch fish. Just before hitting the water, they thrust their feet forward and plunge into the water to grap their prey. The osprey's feet feel like sandpaper, which makes them useful for gripping slippery fish." Finally, the book contains a glossary and a list of bird habitats for each of the species discussed in the text. Ideal for any young bird lovers!

one of those books that makes life magical
This book opened my eyes not only to a forgotten history of spookshows and midnight movies, but to the practice of magic by many of it's main proponents in this century. The pictures of the ghostmasters and their wonderful old sets and adverts are worth a search alone.
