Three Great Lessons
Bridget Anderson,Carmen Green, and Margie Walker each wrote a fantastic story about Kwanzaa and love. Each lesson on the principles of Kwanzaa help the people to learn a new way to share, and a new way to show love. For those of us who are trying to decide if we want to start celebrating Kwanzaa these stories are a must.

Gets Better Every Time
There are 3 different stories and each story is better than the one before. Highly recommended. I truly could relate to so many of the situations that occurred. It's a must read. It was very informative as far as the celebration of Kwanzaa. I now have a better understanding of Kwanzaa and I learned a lot more about the 7 principles of Kwanzaa.

The Spirit of Love
Bridget Anderson's "Imani" takes city girl Natalie back to her hometown for the holidays after ending a three year relationship with a controlling boyfriend. While helping at her aunt's shop she meets country boy Roderick Taylor who is weary of so-called city life after the woman he hoped to marry chose it over him. Logistics however, can not hinder the budding love between Natalie and Rod as they find themselves faced with a long distance romance. But, the spirit of sharing Kwanzaa with her country relatives helps Natalie make a decision that will affect her and Rod for a lifetime.

Widower, businessman Cedric Hamilton meets teacher Iman Parrish in Carmen Green's "Whisper to Me", Iman teaches more than just the celebration of Kwanzaa to Cedric and his twin daughters. Surrounded by things accumulated with the prestige of his wealth, Cedric learns what is truly important when he shares in the true spirit of the holiday and his heart to the promise of love, happiness, and the family he has always desired.

Margie Walker's "Harvest the Fruits" was my favorite. Free lance photogragher Sterling Washington literally saves journalist Selinae Rogers from uncertain harm. Selinae shares with Sterling the magic of Kwanzaa, and they both share their hearts to the magic of love. Sterling continues to offer his strength and protection as Selinae confronts the demon that has bound her family with 15 years of pain. Together Sterling and Selinae learn to apply the principles of the Kwanzaa spirit for the freedom that promises to heal a family for generations to come.

I Love it!
Ray is a real work of art, meaning the girl sure does know how to write! Love Sarah and Blake's story. Sarah really goes after what she wants. You go girl, and much love to you Ray!

Hill is also truly blessed! Loved Jewel and Taj's story. I really get into the age issue stories. I think it is very interesting some authors play out the "age issue," in some books, but this one was nicely done. Much love Hill!

Ms Walkers's Harvest the Fruits can not be forgotten. Nice work!

A STUNNING MASTERPEICE
ONCE AGAIN MS. HILL CAPTURES HER READERS AND TAKES TO THEM TO THAT PLACE THATS JUST BEYOND THE RAINBOW. SHE BRINGS US TO A PLACE THAT ASSURES US ITS OKAY TO PUT OUR HEART ON THE LINE.

I GOTTA LOVE JONES!
That is the discovery that is made by Nathaniel Padell as he re-enters the life of Jenine Jones after an extended absence of 15 years.

Our story begins with the arrival of Nat back on the doorstep of Jenine with a baby in hand.

Fifteen years ago, Nat had left his hometown in Texas and traveled to the "big apple" in order to seek his fame and fortune as a jazz drummer. During this time, he met, married and conceived a baby girl with a beautiful African model.

It is his desire to protect his offspring from a deranged grandfather that propels Nat back into the life of Jenine Jones. Though his desire was to protect his child, he discovers that the desire he felt for Jenine years back has never really diminished. And therein lies the spinning of this tale. Ms. Walker does a great job in supplying us not only with intrigue, danger, mystery, but the development of the romance angle is outstanding.

The sexual tension and final fulfillment will have your toes curling and looking forward to reading more from this author.

Another good one! Get it and experience it for yourself!

Sweet and Heart-warming
Having read all of Margie Walker's books, I decided to input my comments on this story. If you like novels that include lots of suspense, romance and sexual tension, then this is the book to read. Well-paced reading, delicate, humorous all woven throughout this book. You'll enjoy the sensual atmosphere between Nathaniel Padell and Jenine Jones. Reuniting with each other after fifteen years. Find out why after fifteen years, Nathaniel shows up at Jenine's door and with a surprise in his arms.

Breathless
Ms Walker is excellent with developing her storylines and well deserving of romance readers to read her books. Here she has developed a story that takes place in a "Night Club" setting. Nightclub owner, Monique Robbins is forced to take a risk on a new male manager, Solomon Thomas. Now you'll have to read the book to find out why she is reluctant to have him as the manager. This is another one of Margie's "Romantic Suspense" books that she leads you throughout the book trying to see 'whodunit'. This is another well-paced book that Ms Walker delivers to us so well.

Other books by this author you'll enjoy are: Indiscretions, Conspiracy, Public Affair, Remember Me, and A Sweet Refrain.

"Danger and Passion"
Here is another of Margie Walker's creations that involves a couple with a past. Murder, Danger and Passion sums up this book. Story involved around an aerospace design company with owner Marcellus Cavanaugh and Pauline Sinclair. Enjoy this book as you witness how Marcellus rekindles the passion with Pauline as they both face the danger of murder and Pauline being the prime suspect.

As I have said on previous reviews about Ms Walker, she seems to have a niche' for writing these romantic suspense stories and she does it so well. Romance Readers, my advice is to check out Ms Walker's gift of writing you'll be quite pleased with her books.

Check out some of Ms Walker's other published books: Public Affair, Remember Me, Indiscretions, A Sweet Refrain and Breathless.

"Power and Passion"
Politics, power and passion sums up this book. But this would not be a Margie Walker specialty if it did not involve suspected murder and past secrets.

Marlena Lord, who is forced into politics, after her father dies tragically in a plane crash. But good-looking, and charming real estate developer, Miles Chase comes into her life. Oh, boy does, Miles stir some passion up with Marlena. But, you know this story would not be complete without a little touch of danger. Being a book about politics, you can imagine what possibility could happen. Well, you'll have to read this book and gather all the details. Being a well-paced book, you should have no problem enjoying this book.

My other favorite Walker books are: Remember Me, A Sweet Refrain, Indiscretions, Breathless and Conspiracy.

Love is Truly Everlasting-As always, I Truly Loved It
Brenda Jackson has done it again. You just have to love her. Felicia and Trask truly has a story that makes you sit up and take notice! This book was hot and very steamy. It is one of those books that has you talking to the characters saying: "why are you fighting the feeling, if only I was in your shoes" type stories. I am big fan of Mrs. Jackson. I've read all her books to date including "Secret Love." I had that one a couple of days after its release date and finished it in one day. So Brenda's a very talented woman, I recommend this and all of her books to put a smile on your face! After reading thing book, you will say, "God has blessed your with a gift. "All the other stories in Something to Celebrate were just lovely too!

Good Read
What can you say about Brenda Jackson. She is one of my favorite writers. The story about Trask and Felicia had be laughing, crying and applauding. This would have even been better if it was longer.

I purchase the book for Brenda's story, but I did like the other stories as well. They both touched on some sensitive issues.

Good job ladies.

I LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT
I am not a big romance reader, but this Holiday novella was the bomb. I read it three time this weekend. I just couldn't put it down. Brenda Jackson is a writer in a class all by herself. I just want to talk to her personally. I really really enjoyed all the stories, Ms Jackson just took my breath away. Ladies keep up the good work each story had a special highlight that truly deal with family, emotion, faith and issues of today.

Can a relationship survive indiscretions?
In Margie Walker's Indiscretions, you will find Sydney Webster who is in the height of her Sales career, when she becomes the number one suspect of murder. The man murdered is a well-liked politician, which just happens to be her sister's fiancée.

Sydney hires Perry Mason McDonald the best criminal lawyer in town who also has a few secrets of his own. Perry also happens to be a very good piece of "eye candy. Which to Sydney seems too make up for his communication skills. There is immediate attraction between the two. As the investigation progresses, Mr. McDonald begin to wonder if he can remain effective by subduing his longings and "properly" defend his attractive client. Detectives Mellowcamp and Tompkins are hot on her trail, but perhaps one of them is willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

In the beginning, the question here is "Who done it"? Even though everything points to Sydney. However, you will find she isn't the only one in the Webster family that may have reason to want the man dead. This family has more than it's share of secrets. The story will keep you guessing until a well-hidden secret is revealed...and maybe even still guessing then.

As for me the beginning was a little disconcerting because it didn't start with the "sizzling murder case" as stated on the back cover. However, if you are a diehard romantic or romance reader, you will love this book from beginning to end. In the end, the question is "Can a relationship survive indiscretions"? The story makes you wonder ... will Sydney find freedom and love or constraint and loneliness...or worse DEATH.

Love, "Unexpected"
If you enjoy the romantic murder suspense type books, read this book By Margie Walker. The story takes place in Texas and features, Sydney Webster who has a career at a radio station finds herself in serious trouble with the law. She is forced under these circumstances to seek the professional help of handsome defense attorney, Perry McDonald. Find out why this title is very suiting to the story. This well-paced suspense murder mystery that just so happens to include some very romantic scenes and leaves the reader solving this mystery until close to the last chapter. But you'll find yourself being apart of this legal team, trying to see whodunit. You'll be surprised like I was who the real killer happens to be!

This author is excellent when it comes to writing stories involving suspense with romance. Margie, you deserve your accolades on this one, it's a book worth reading.

GOOD BUT NOT HER BEST
I love the book, but I was not please with the ending. I felt she should have taking one more step. I do not want to give away the ending but lets just say that it could have been better.

I liked it!!
I was sad to see this book receive some not so good reviews! I mean I liked it. Someone said something so bad that it made me go back and reread the whole book, but yet again I did not see any problems! I loved Layla abd Paul's relationship form start to finish!! Paul is a man that really take his cases too personal, especially when he takes them home with him, literally! I really, truly enjoyed this book! Nice read!!
