An Excellent book (probably marred by its ambiguous title)
An excellent research in penology and criminology. I personally think that this book is misrepresented or ignored by its vague title "Past or Future Crimes : Deservedness and Dangerousness in the Sentencing of Criminals." Don't judge this book by its title. As a penological research this work is outstanding with an interesting perspective in the subject of incarceration and provides a dubious look at Utilitarianism.

It's a good CJ book....easy to read. A quick read. Wish it was a little more interesting a read though.
