Excellent text for learning and review

Excellent book that is factual and clinically sensitibve. The authors must be superb clinicians as well as teachers.

Ver well done, non biased, broad overview of complex issues

Very well done volume, thoughtful, not a "flash in the pan", both good science and good clinical care. One of the few volumes I have ever seen to address the care of wounded and the issues of CBW in historical context, as well as POWs and the stress on families. Comprehensive.

Very well done, comprehensive and still even at this date perhaps the best review of the issues in trauma and disaster from superb group fo authors. Excellent chapter on debriefing.

Excellent--good authors

Very well done group of authors -- particularly interesting chapters on neurobiology and the stress on families of disaster workers. Good summary chapter at the end.
