What If They Saw Me Now Review
What if they saw me now is an excellent book. The plot of the story is based on a teenage boys life and it portrays a boys life well, too. It tells about how Jamie's life is as normal as any other teenage boys(with enemies, friends, and hopefully girlfriends) but then the story turns when Jamie has to make a diffucult desicion whether or not he wants to join ballet. Many things are making the descion even worse. He is afraid of what his best friend as well as his dad, and what his enemies will do. He wonders what the girls will think, and what about his dance partner will think, will Anita like him more? This story portrays the everyday life of any teenager.

A delightful gem
This book is effortlessly enjoyable and surprisingly heartwarming. Plague 99 introduced me to Ms. Ure's gifts, this one can prompt you to actively search for more of her work. The delicate and sincere tone of this book elevates what could have been a mushy story.

very good and an easy read
I read this book for the first time when I was in high school. I found the love story between abe who was twentysomething blind man and Marrianna who was an awkward 16 year old terrific. I thought it was a unique twist on the classic young adult love story. This book allows people to view a man who is blind in a way most readers never do. Abe is a normal young guy except that he can not see with his eyes. Also, I was excited to find the sequel to this book 'After Thursday'. It picks up where this book ends! If anyone knows of a third sequel to this book please let me know!!

A Perfect Read for a Young Reader
I really enjoyed reading this book. I was packing up my brother's books because we are moving and I found it among his books. I was interested in it and started to read it. I read it in a couple of hours for it is quite short but the message that it sends is unforgetable. It teaches us to think of the blind as not only the blind, but as people as well. Marianne was uncomfortable with Abe at first but soon started to really enjoy his company and would forget about his blindness. It was a very touching young romance. The only thing that I didn't quite enjoy was the quick ending. They were talking and all of a sudden it ends. For a minute there I thought that pages had been ripped out! But besides that it's great!

Hi there,Supermouse!~
Hi there,Supermouse!A novel by Jean Ure,a british author,is a remarkable and well written book.It is the story of two sisters,Nicola and Rose who have totally diffrent personalities.'Jean Ure is a gifted author.'(British Book News).Once again,Hi there,Supermouse! by Jean Ure will not make the readers dissapointed just like other books written by her.The story is interesting! There isn't much story in this book.Mainly about the daily life of a 13 year old girl and her family.Nicola, the elder daughter of the family is the main character. Most of the time Nicola behaves like a boy.She has dark brown hair.As far as their mother,Mrs Bruce was concerned, the only talent Nicola had was for getting into trouble. She drew funny faces on Rose's ballet shoes and play in the mud. These were ridiculous.Rose,on the other hand was the talented one.She could sing and dance and was pretty as picture, just like her name.Mrs Bruce sometimes threats Nicola not as good as she threats Rose. For one ocassion, she even rejected the invitation for wanted Nicola to play a part in the local theatre show. The crisis in Nicola's life occurs when Rose got the part and there was absolutrly nothing for Nicola could do about it.That was until Rose fell ill and Nicola had to stanf in for her in the rehearsals. It was surprising as Nicola did act better than Rose. Nicola's career was fanstatic.Although she often causes troubles, she is a friendly girl with a great affection and sympathy to animals. Thus, made her can act well in the show. She takes her dog for a walk everyday. She felt sad too when the mouse once she used to have escaped from its cage as she didn't shut the door properly. The imaginative part of her character and the most interesting part of the story is during the rehearsal, when Nicola had to take an imaginary mouse from her pocket and showed it high up.The mouse was going to escape into the room.Nicola abd everybody else had to follow it with thier eyes so that the audience would know where it was and what it was doing.Nicola didnt have ant problem at all imagining a mouse. They really can 'see' the mouse. It was a real mouse,a supermouse! It is great as the story had a happy ending. The author is careful to be precise, describing the feeling of a child who was always being think as trouble maker and lack of talent. In fact, the only thing that Nicola lack of is chance.I like the'never give up' spirit of Nicola. Her personalities leads to her success for being able to attend dancing lessons. This book is suitable for all ages, especially teenagers who are 11 years old and above as there are some difficulties of vocabularies in the book.Overall,it is a fascinating story. You will feel not enough for just reading it once. You will look forward to reading it twice!~

Ble
You people looking for a good book? Ha not here. This book was cheesily written. A steroid induced monkey could write better Jibberish. Get real Jean!

A plague in London
I want to ask the author of this book a question, namely : "Do you think that the situation that is described in the book could become reality? And did you have this in mind when you wrote the book?

One of the best authors?
I read this book a few years ago, after meeting the author Jean Ure at my school. She could possibly be one of the nicest and most interesting people I have ever met, making time for everyone and making sure we were all happy with the way she treated us.

This has to be one of the best of her books, and I feel almost like I understand just how these characters are feeling and why she put them in that position. The story is most noticeable because of the story, there is not predictable plot and you find yourself sittin gon the edge of your seat waiting for what will happen next, yet crying with upset for what is happening to the characters at the same time. Definitely worth reading, BUY IT! PS....it's late at night, I apologise to my school for making it look like I am making great grammatical errors!
