*CLEAR* Instuctions, cool designs,& everything you need!
I got this book from the library before I bought it to confirm it's worthiness and it got top ratings from me! The instructions are *VERY* clear,so even if you've never made friendship bracelets before, you can start right away beacause it includes *ALL* the materials you need. The designs start at the easiest,so you can learn the basic knot before you proceed to more complex designs.
The Lowdown: A great book for the experienced crafter, the person trying to reach that level,or the pure beginner. Enjoy.

Great kit for beginners
When I was a kid, my friends and I loved to make friendship bracelets out of embroidery floss. We would weave different designs and give them to each other as gifts. It was so much fun.

My best friend's daughter is turning 8, and when I saw this book, I knew this would be perfect for her. She is creative and loves jewelry. This book is the perfect starter kit for making friendship bracelets. Along with step by step instructions with illustrations for making simple to complex patterns, this book also provides a handy measuring guide and all the supplies needed to make many plain and beaded friendship bracelets. A variety of colored floss and beads (including blue, red, green, pink, white, and black) means that just about every taste is covered.

I highly recommend this product as a gift for any creative or crafty girl (or boy)!

It's worth your money
After going to camp and making some bracelets I decided I wanted to try some on my own. I went and researched almost every book that had to do with this subject. I narrowed my selection down to three books then decided on this one. I was very skeptical but I can honestly say it's extremely easy to follow and was a great choice. The pictures are helpful and there are many variations of bracelets to make. It's great for beginners but there are also complicated designs for the advanced reader. It comes with everything necessary and I loved the colors of string it came with. I DEFINITLY recommend it!!!

I really love this book!
I love this book! It's great! For those people who ran out of clay, try White Rose or Michaels for Sculpey III, or any well-stocked craft store would have it. BYE!

Started an obsession!
I received this book 3 years ago as a Christmas gift, and it sparked such an interest, that I began making gifts for every occasion, and then branched into selling my creations. There's plenty in this book to keep an adult interested! By the way, to the reviewer who expressed dismay at the difficulty of finding replacement clay, look for Sculpey III at your local craft store - that is the type of clay used in the book.

I really like the activities in this book but I think that most of them are to hard for anyone below the age of ten. I still have trouble with the details even though I am thirteen. you also need to find a different red color. It stained my clothes and all I did was drop it on them. Other than those complaints though, you did a good job. You need to make another book of things to do with the clay. Sincerely, Alicia LeCroy

Wonderful ideas for little people.
This is a great book of ideas! There are crafts from feather butterflies to treasure boxes. Honestly, I'm usually very critical of craft books because I had found some that were not very creative at all. Disney's Princess Crafts have a diverse array of ideas that you could do with your kids. I found MYSELF excited about these projects. The crafts are classy, tasteful and cute.

Disney's Ten-Minute Crafts for Preschoolers
This is a great book for preschoolers and older kids. My six year old loved. She can read, understand and follow the instructions herself. Almost all the projects are made from items you would have on hand in your house (chop sticks might be the only thing you won't have.) Great book!

Good starter book
This is a great book for folks just beginning to create punch art. HOWEVER, be warned that the resulting punches are very tiny - the artwork in the book is enlarged to show detail. If you are trying to create archival punch art, you will need to get a glue pen or the adhesive and punches will get very unwieldy very fast. Also, the quality of the punches that came with my book was not great - I have to punch down superhard to get the punches to cut completely, and the heart punch fell apart in the hands of my 5-year-old. Overall, the ideas are wonderful and helpful, but the execution is not as easy as it looks! Buy this book, but be warned that you might have to invest more money in better-quality punches.

Buy This Book!
I wanted this book for almost a year before I got it. After I did, I knew that I made a good decision. This book would be better if the paper they supplied wasn't on two sides of one paper and if they had more of sheets of sample paper. All of the designs are excellent though, and they are really easy to do!

Excellent aid in embellishing scrap pages or anything else!
I bought the last copy of this from my local [store]! It was a gift for my daughter, and we have both enjoyed it. I searched high and low to find additional copies to give as gifts to my daughter's friends and cousins --- that's how good this is.

Another reviewer mentioned the small size of the products -- yes, when you're using the punches provided (but they are still very usable). The ideas are easily transferable, however, to uses with larger punches or even die cuts! My daughter has created some awesome embellisments for her scrapbook pages using the ideas in this book. Purchase and enjoy!

Touch the heart
I truly enjoyed this books.I felt like I was there with the characters especially when Amy found out about Sara. I felt for both girls hurt. I think it is truly a great book for friends and love ones of young teens who think they may be gay.

A realistic story of jealousy and change.
Amy and her best friend Sara have always done everything together; but Sara's growing closeness to another girl is threatening their exclusive friendship. Amy discovers Sara has a secret - which she's shared with the other girl - and trouble quickly divides them. A realistic story of jealousy and change.

November Ever After
I loved this book! Laura Torres does a magnificant job creating a world where Amy, whose mom has been killed recently in a car crash, is trying to heal. Amy's best friend, Sara, who is Amy's support, seems to be slipping away. The great thing about this novel, is when Sara admits that she is gay, we see Amy is upset, not by her friend's sexual preference, but because Sara didn't trust Amy with this knowledge.

Torres has a way with words, and when Amy is alone, dealing with the grief from losing her mother, the reader feels that grief. Descriptions are perfect, lending a real sense of place, characters are strong (young love as well as best friends), and dialogue is fast-moving.

The only thing that I am disappointed about is that there aren't any other fiction titles by Laura Torres. I felt this was a fine, well-written first novel. I can't wait to read more.

Cute Ideas
Very nicely layed out. Great photography. There could be a little more detail on technique but overall it is a very nice book

Is something missing?
The book is excellent - encourages creativity.

On page 5 in the Baking section, second column, it stops in mid sentence. We wondered how long to bake our creation, but couldn't find a clue.

Fantastic ideas!
I wanted to mention a little omething about the reader wndering about page 5 in this book. The writing does stop in mid - sentence but if you want to know how long to bake, just read the individual instructions for each craft and you will find the exact baking time for your project.

I would strongly suggest anyone who would like to work with polymer clay to buy this book! There are plenty of wonderful projects to keep anyone busy for a long time. If you run out of clay, most local craft stores will carry more - either Sculpey III or other sculpey brands like Presto which is just about the same. Buy this book and enjoy!

How Stupid
I teach a class of 2nd graders this book is even too childish for them. I don't even think that this book deserves a star, but it looks like i have to give it one so I did.

okay
I think this book is very creative but there is nothing to do with the animals when you finish them. and so i just put them in a drawer.

Pipe Cleaners Gone Crazy
I bought this book for my son,who just turned 8. He had wanted to make animals out of pipe cleaners, they had done this at school. He really liked this book. I liked it because it comes with enough pipe cleaners to make everything in the book. It really does! The pictures are step by step and really clear. We had a lot of fun with this book.
