A wonderful and witty book by esteemed children's author Bill Adler, Jr., the "Baby-English" book provides parents of young ones a snicker, chuckle and occasional true belly laugh. Adler's book compares common baby phrases to the actual meaning, giving us a laugh along with the realization that some phrasing in babies is common no matter what. Truly an enjoyable book, this is short, easy to read and has hysterical little cartoon illustrations by Bonnie Timmons.

I enjoyed this book very much. It tells you what to do in a sticky event, such as having your period in public, finding a lost dog, falling down the stairs at school, and even more. I thought this book was very helpful. It presents information that is easy to understand and vital. My only complaint (and the reason why I rated this book four stars) is that I felt the book as a little too short. I would have liked for their to be more sticky events, and what do in them. Otherwise, a fantastic, great book.

What do you do if you get separated from your parents in a big city? What if your BFF tells EVERYONE in the whole school who you like? What if you forget your lines on the big opening night of a play? Yikes has the answers to these problems and much more. It gives helpful advice and ways to prevent bad things from happening, but it's also fun to read. I love this book and hope that you will too.

As a 12 year old just begging to think of boys in any romantic way, this book helped a lot with crushes, imtroducing yourself, dealing with friends who are jelous, ect, ect. Then, once you gte into a relashionship, there is a big question mark. I would still reccomend this book, but only for 11-13 year olds who havn't had a real relashionship yet.

THIS BOOK IS GREAT FOR US GIRLS CAUSE IT HELPSWITH MANY SIRUTIONS WERE ALWAYS IN. I LOVED THIS BOOK IT HELPED ME GET OUTY OF MANY SITUTIONS.

First, this book is probably best suited for 7-11 year-olds. I read it to my 4 and 6 year olds, and they were quickly bored. There is a lot of information and detail that will leave little ones distracted.

However, the book should prove very interesting to older children because of its excellent illustrations and interesting story.

Follow Professor Curious as he tries to figure out how dinosaur footprints could be found at the top of the Alps. Especially since dinosaurs were, "big, fat, and somewhat lazy." and, "They hated hiking." The author uses humor, scientific theory, good examples and illustrations to answer the questions how dinosaur footprints arrived at the top of the Alps.
