Excellent
Excellent information on how chemicals in every day things are harming us. The authors also list alternative products to use, and at the end of each section the authors give resources on where to get them. Basically its a book on how to live an organic lifestyle, which is much more healthier.

Its filled with information I never knew before, very very informative, and very much worth the money. I'm glad that I bought this book.

Fantastic and intelligent resource book
I found this text to be a totally informative and intelligent read. I am constantly using it as a reference book. It outlines organic living for the garden, family and home. Wonderful antedotes and tips on living an organic lifestyle in the everyday world grace the pages. Clear and concise writing together with inspiring photographs make this a great and colourful resouce.

A Great Place to Start
If you have ever wondered why some of your friends are vegetarian, and why this movement is growing so fast, or why people recyle, etc. this is a great place to find the answers. A very inviting reading on why these things are important, how you can get involved-and might I add-feel "normal" about it. Toss off keeping up with the spending habits and overconsumerism of your friends, and get back to the basics...eatting meat without hormones or antibiotics added; recycling, and taking responsibility for yourself and the planet. If you don't, who will?

An MT must-have reference book
This is the best cardiology book I've used, and as a bonus it has pulmonary words, unlike the competitor's cardiology book.

Excellent Guide..
This is an excellent and must have publication for the novice or experienced medical transcriptionist. If you are hospital-based (home worker or office), this is a must have for the Cardiology and Pulmonology Speciality. If you can't find it anywhere else, it will be here. If you are looking for a supplement to enhance your library, I would not hesitate to purchase this handy guide. Excellent reference!

A Guide for any College Studnet
I am currently reading What About God and I can't imagine what my months at college would be like without this book. Each week's devotional focus is thought provoking and on target. Neinast seems to know exactely what things college students will be facing throughout their first year of college. For anyone wanting to know God more, grasp His amazing love, and find strength and encouragement while facing one of the most life changing years, this book is a must. This book will definately help the reader to grow in their Christian walk.

Spiritually challenging and very 'real.'
Here - in a book that young adult readers will find remarkably beckoning - one will discover not only an intelectually stimulating, but a spiritually-challenging combination of insight, wit, and wisdom which challenges, amuses and provides - with remarkable impact - realistic, meaningful connections to the contemporary life experiences of the contemporary young adult. "What About God" links 'head to heart,'and 'soul to spirit' in a remarkably mature manner, providing both intellectual stimulation and meaningful challenges for faithful daily living.

An absorbing and unusual book - don't miss this one.
Ths Chainmakers begins in an unusual location - the Black Country of England at the turn of the century. A young woman works her way out of her poverty to achieve fame and fortune as a top restauranteur in New York city - but there's a twist in the tale! Helen Spring shows a sure touch in her first novel. She has a fine attention to detail and the characters are wholly believeable. A gripping story - I look forward to the sequel

Wonderful Glimpse!
I read her "Front Row at the White House" first and expected to get the same information, just not as many presidents. But in her first book, Ms. Thomas included more informaiton than in her second book.

You've always read about the presidents, by reading this book you get a 'behind the scenes' glimpse into their lives and how the reporters do their jobs.

a wonderful new take on beauty
i've read a good amount of self-help books in my life, and this has got to be one of the best ones. EFFORTLESS BEAUTY emphasizes the use of ayurveda and incorporates yoga into a daily regimen tailored to your body type.

following this book will mean a dramatic change to your lifestyle, but it would definitely be worth it. the authors have information on everything everyone's concerned about. they even have seasonal beauty regimens (weekly, monthly, etc).

a lot of it involves making your own beauty products; this is a very holistic and naturopathic way to become beautiful. the only effort you'd have to exert, is the willpower to change your lifestyle. it's almost religious - and it definitely works. buy it, or at least read it! missing this book would be a tremendous loss.

Great guide book!
This guide book may lack the extensive lists of hotels and restaurants that Lonely Planet guides have, but for someone who is curious about travelling to Persia, this is a great idea. There are some nice photos, information on how to get there, and a good amount of cultural notes. While some of the material is probably outdated, its a great book for those who are interested in Iran.

Beautifully Illustrated Book!
I am a third grade teacher and the study of Native Americans is part of our History/Social Studies curriculum. Every third grade teacher at my school has purchased this book with their own money to use when teaching this topic. It is beautifully illustrated and contains lots of colorful photographs. It contains interesting facts and information about different Native American tribes and their customs, from totem poles and tipis to wedding ceremonies and canoe-building. My students really enjoy reading it and looking at the pictures. I highly recommend it for those of you who have an interest in Native American culture, artwork and customs.

For All Ages and for All Time
Like her former partner Robert A. Johnson, Helen Luke is a master of rendering the psychological meanings in great literature understandable and relevant to all people wishing to gain a deeper level of understanding about the growtn of the human soul. Having plumbed the depths of her own psycho-spiritual aging process(Such Stuff As Dreams are Made On), Ms. Luke has created a work fusing literary scholarship and personal experience into a guide for all of us to follow towards the inevitable. When the time comes for me to plant my oar (read her interpretation of The Odyssey)and turn towards the life of prayer, song and storytelling I will be eternally grateful to have had this wonderful Wise Woman as my guide. Deserving of a wide readership.
