I loved the entire book!
I am a total JTT fan, and when I read this book, it really informed me evern more! I loved how it was so complete with stats, quotes, color pics, and everything from a-z! I couldn't put it down until I was done

An excellent in-depth biography!
Congratulations to Michael-Anne Johns! He has written a fantastic fun and fact-filled book on the life of Jonathan Taylor Thomas on and off-screen. Unlike some biographies, Johns uses more words than pictures, so you learn a lot more about what they're like, rather than what they look like. He has done a lot of research and included a nice review at the back of Thomas's favorites and quick facts. Every Jonathan Taylor Thomas lover should read this great book. Hopefully Johns will come up with a new JTT book to talk about Wild America and his new roles. Congrats again Johns

This book was just FANTASTIC!!!
It gave me lots of information on JTT.
I learned so much about him!
If only I was able to meet him!
:-)
Everyone should read it!

Excellent reference book for the student of World War Two
This work contains key names, battles, and machinery of the second world war. It gives the reader more than just "the basics". The biographical sketches of various characters of the war are informative. It gives the significance of various battles and weaponry as well. All in all, a very thorough work.

A hand book for mastering the dynamics of groups.
The Zen of Groups is a handbook for effective group participation. It achieves this through distinguishing the elements of group dynamics.

The Zen of Groups is written in simple language and makes complex and subtile issues clear and easy to understand. This gives both the beginner and advanced facilitator or group participant alike access to understanding and making a useful difference in the dynamics of any group.

The Zen of Groups also has a section of tools and processes which can be applied to assist groups which are stuck or not acheveing their purpose to move forward.

I highly recomend this book to anyone wanting to develop a greater understanding of the the dynamics of groups. I use it all the time as a resource in my practice as a professional facilitator.

Reader From PA
I thought this book was not interesting enough. I thought it would explain about attraction in a way I would understand, but instead it was more on the philosophical side as far as like attracts like, and the universal laws. It wasn't bad but it was nothing like I thought it would be.

Some of the best help you can get for your self.
This is a must have book. If you need some help in a failing marriage of going through the same bad relasionships. This is the book you want to get to help your self. Believe me this I trully know. I was married over 25years and my wife left me for a younger man. We fell into the same pattern most people who break up do. Loss Of respect and onto the same day type pattern things. I'm not going to get into all that though. Just want to let you know been there done that. This book saved my sainity. It got me to get my life back on track and made me a much better person. Also showed me what I did wrong and what my wife did wrong. I truly know it will never happen to me again. You need to jump start an dull marriage. Get over one like me or stop gettin into the same bad relasionships. Buy this book it will change your life for the better.

Best Book Ever Read
I originally purchased this book thinking it was another one of those books on what tricks you need in order to find a boyfriend or a girlfriend, but after reading it for the first time it is an amazing book. From page 1 to the last page, I found things in it that made me nod my head, underline it and say outloud 'yeah that is it exactly'. She points out the negative things people do to themselves and to each other whether it is through the words you use, how you treat yourself and others and what you need to do to change it. She gives you the tools for you to make your life exactly the way you want it to be and shows you how to take that little voice everyone has in their heads and turn it around so that it says positive things instead of all of the negative words you hear and try to shut out. If you are looking to start over, to find that love of your life (yourself) or even that someone special that will love you for who you are, then you have to buy this book. Definitely one of those can't put down books. You will change your life for the better. Buy it!!!

Decent compilation
"Summer Love" is a decent compilation of stories by four established authors. All four manage the novella form well, with believable and appealing characters and good writing.

Janelle Taylor is the editor and featured writer in this compilation with her story "Straight from the Heart." As is often the case with these compilations, her story ends up the weakest. Kim is stranded in a mountain cabin with Stephen, to whom she is attracted. Unfortunately, Stephen's law firm represented her lying husband in her divorce and she still holds onto that resentment. Kim is a decent character, although she seems overly bitter towards Stephen. The hero Stephen is OK, but the story doesn't give much of a sense of him, and their "romance" isn't well-developed within the confines of the novella form. Still, it's a sweet little love story.

"Summer Fantasy" by Jill Marie Landis is one of the better stories in this group. The character of Kylee is especially strong, and the romance between the two is well-developed and believable. A good story with an ending I bought into.

Stella Cameron is a talented author, and the plot of "Early in the Morning" is an interesting one, as it involves aliens seeking humans as sex therapists. As always, Cameron handles her erotic scenes very well, and her writing is very distinctive. This story also works well in the novella format. I'm not sure I always bought into this story, but Cameron's work is always interesting if nothing else.

Anne Stuart's "Sultry" is a decent story. The characters were appealing and the romance believable. The story itself is nothing distinctive or special, but it's a decent addition to this compilation.

All in all, this is an enjoyable compilation, with good writing and charming characters. While some stories are weaker than others, Landis's strong contribution and Cameron's distinctive writing style give it an edge over other similar compilations.

Wonderful
This is my favorite story by her. She used Hawaiian words and described the setting so well it brought back great memories of my trips to Kauai. The characters were magic and I love the description of Rick Pau-he's my dream guy!

A Nice, Light Read.
"Valentine Babies" is an entertaining anthology containing 3 stories centred on Valentine's Day and babies. All 3 stories were fun and original. I wasn't really expecting to like this book, so it was a pleasant surprise to have really enjoyed it!
The first story, "Goddess in Waiting" by Anne Stuart is the best. Marike is a larger than life woman who runs a maternity shop/shelter for pregnant teenagers. When William arrives one day in his Gucci suit looking to have a maternity wardrobe made for his sister, it's clear that these two couldn't be more complete opposites. But William finds the funky and compassionate Marike irresistible, though she's far from his usual type. Now he just has to convince Marike that they're right for each other! This story was fresh and original, and I thought it was great!
Next is Tara Taylor Quinn's "Gabe's Special Delivery". This is the story of two very different people who fall in love and rush into marriage, only to have it fall apart because of a misunderstanding. However, a beautiful baby girl helps them find their way back to each other. Bailey and Gabe are both very likeable characters. This was an enjoyable read.
Finally, Julie McBride's "My Man Valentine" is a sweet story about friends becoming lovers. Eloise has lived next door to C.D. Valentine for two years, and has been fantasizing about him since the day they met. Her plans to profess her feelings for him on Valentine's Day are interrupted when she suddenly finds herself babysitting for a very unhappy little girl. C.D., however, comes to help out, and he and Eloise finally admit that their feelings run deeper than friendship. This is a lovely romance and is sure to please readers.
Overall, this anthology is great for light reading and a few hours of relaxation. Each story is fun and romantic, so pick this book up and enjoy!

A Good Anthology
A read that is centered around Valentine's Day and babies, this was a mostly pleasing anthology for me. I'm not a fan of anthologies--stories too incomplete, rushed. Ms. Stuart manages somehow, to convey a complete romance in her story. There's a prologue that makes you wonder....an epilogue that is really cute. In between you have, as the girls call him, a "hottie" for a hero, and a very different heroine. Sexy, fun, and romantic...and the story makes sense. Ms. Quinn's story was my disappointment. H/h spend most of a short story, apart. And, Gabe's gift from his "ex-wife" made no real sense,to me. Finally, Jule McBride does a story with one of my favorite romances--friends becoming lovers. I didn't like the use of the baby, in this one. But, the story is romantic and is a good, sexy read.

This Valentine delivers.
GODDESS IN WAITING, written by Anne Stuart and the first of this collection, gives us Marike, a long-legged completely exasperating female whom William Lambert wants the minute he sees, despite the fact that she's not his type. His type is geared to match his life: sophisticated, elegant, and worldly, everything that the smart-mouthed, quirky Marike is not. And while he annoys her completely upon their first meeting, she is immediately drawn to this tall, sexy man. You'll race through this romance, enjoying the dialogue, the characters, and the wacky world that Marike inhabits. The duct-tape dummy scene is hilarious and easy to envision thanks to one of the best wordsmiths this genre has to offer.

There are few writers who can construct this short form so very well, so make this your introduction to Anne Stuart if you've never read her before. A collection like this is a perfect sampler. I confess that I got this book for her story alone, and I haven't even bothered to read the other two yet. But one Anne Stuart gives you more than your money's worth.

Excellent book on facilitation
A very good book on one of the most difficult arts that of drawing together a group through facilitation.

New Facilitators must read!
The Art of Facilitation is a must read for new facilitators or trainers. It is easy to read and offers practical advice and activities for newcomers to the field of facilitation. This is one of the few facilitation books to offer a chapter on facilitating yourself. Not as advanced as other facilitation books (Masterful Facilitation or Facilitator's Guide to Particiapatory Decision Making) but recommend this as part of any facilitator's library of resources.

Distinguishing Facilitation Powerfully and Simply
The Art of Facilitation is written in simple language. It cuts through the academic tendency to complicate this domain, and in doing so displays the authors mastery of it.

The Art of Facilitation elucidates what it takes to facilitate groups powerfully and provides pathways, tools and processes for this.

This book will provide people new to facilitation with an intellectual analysis of it and old hands clear pathways to doing complex things simply. I use it all the time as a resource in my pratice as a professional facilitator and it is the required text in facilitator training courses which I lead for Zenergy.

I would also recommend Hunter et al's other books: Co-operacy, The Zen of Groups, The Essence of Facilitation.

Marriage

the marriage-go-round
Two views of what damage infidelity within marriages can do.

For readers who relish the complexities of two people making a life together, the dialogues ring true & the situations are both delicately funny & seriously telling.

Anyone who has been espoused will know of what this author writes, & will find some interesting information to take back to their marriage.

Insightful Pain
I found the pain in this book very real. Two sides of the same story. I found it interesting to see how Carolina and David handled their emotions and their lives. However, I take exception to the other reader reviewer who gave it one star after admitting not reading the first and only skimming the second novella. Is that fair to an author?

Two Beautifully Written Novellas
Anne Taylor Fleming tells two different stories dealing with relationship between husband and wife. The first novella, "A Married Woman," features Caroline. She's a devoted wife and mother sitting by her husband's hospital bed day after day where he lays in a coma.

She is forced to remember how wonderful their marriage started out and how in love they were. But she's also forced to take good, hard look at what their relationship developed into and must deal with the emotional turmoil that his infidelities with a younger woman left her with. Caroline must face the reality of the ups and downs of the life spent together and with the reality of spending the rest of her life without him.

The second novella, "A Married Man," showcases the life of David a loving husband, father and successful businessman who is dealing with the betrayal of his wife, Marcia. His life is turned upside down emotionally due to his wife's one night romp through the sheets with another man.

Marcia doesn't try to hide it from him and claims it was just a one time thing she never meant to do. Now she wants to try and mend their battered relationship by going to counseling.

Much of the story takes place in a marriage counselor's office where David's mind wanders throughout the sessions to better times. Times when they were happy and loving towards each other.

He begins to doubt they will ever be able to get that back and doesn't know if he'll ever be able to forgive and forget. He must decide if what they had is worth a second try.
