When I was little my sister and I took this out of the library nearly every week. My mother finally tracked down a copy and gave it to me for my 25th birthday. It was the best present ever! If you can get your hands on it, read this book!!!

This book was my favorite as a child. When I was 5 years old to 8 years of age, my mother would sit on my bed and read this book to me. It contains all of the awe, wonder and excitement that the book, "Where the Wild Things Are" offers to a child. I would check out this book continously through my school library and I don't believe that any other name was listed in the library other than mine when I was through. I recommend that if you can find this book, read it or buy it! I can gaurantee that your child will love it!.

"Rotten Kidphabets" is definitely one of the greatest childrens books ever written. I demand that every child own a copy! It isn't a long winded tale about prince charmings or evil step mothers - it is a creative masterpiece. . . the artwork is fun and original and the words are hilarious. It's a book your child will never forget, and since its ultimate goal is to help your kids learn their ABC's - you can't go wrong! Its creativity and ability to captivate children is comparable to the enduring classic childrens tale "Where the Wild Things Are". So forget the "Happily Ever After" stories which give your kids backwards messages about beauty and self worth and read your kids "Rotten Kidphabets" a delightfully different kind of book that provides laughs and learning - with a twist!

Zag is a "slanted" detective searching for his partner- throughout his jouney, he encounters good eggs, happy hamburgers, and furious frankfurters. Brilliantly wacky. Great surprise ending-- ingeniously illustrated. Entertaining for kids of all ages (cheesey cliche, yes- but true nonetheless).

i got this when i was in kindergarten i think. my mom read it to me and my brother. it made us laugh a bunch. very cool, original illustrations. i'm really glad i still have it.
