I haven't yet read Motivational Leadership, by Alfred Tack, but I have read another of his seminal motivational works: Sell Better -- Live Better (which is, at the time of writing this review available through the Amazon ZShop). Based on the reading of SB -- LB, I am prepared to endorse this book--with unswerving conviction! Alfred Tack, quite simply put, is a master motivator and bonafide genius. Before reading Sell Better -- Live Better, I was living in my car in Pembroke, Ontario, Canada, a washed up salesman. I had no ambition, no friends, and no hope. After spending an afternoon hanging around the local A&P looking for fallen coins in the muddy snow and on my way to the local watering hole, I passed a used bookstore. In the window, a copy of Alfred Tack's Sell Better -- Live Better. I felt a strange attraction to the book and, counting the coins in my freezing hands, discovered I had enough money to purchase the book--or a half-dozen strong beers. Suffice to say, I bought the book and retired to my 1974 Ford Pinto and began reading. A month later, I was working for the local matchbox company selling matches to natives on local reservations. A year later, I'm happy to say, I'm making over $100K a year in Ottawa. And I hold Alred Tack responsible. Buy his books, ye downcast and despairing. Buy his books and read deeply of them. The future is bright if you do; if you don't you'll be shining my shoes.
