Great Gift
If you love cats, you will love this book. Would make a whimsical gift for a cat lover that you know or yourself.

PURRFECT LAUGHS
This book is so vivid. Absolutely no words in the comic strips are needed to understand exactly what the cat in each comic strip is doing. They're SO funny! One comic strip has two cats playing tennis with a mouse as a "tennisball." Another comic strip has an owner of a cat holding a bill from a delivery guy for MANY boxes of tuna that she obviously didn't order and her cat nearby looking on innocently. The feline humor just keeps PURRING along! Buy it with confidence for that absolutely FELINE laugh!

If you appreciate felines and black humor,
this book is irresistible

Great fun for kids
What a marvelous book. It explains the functions of digestion in a fun way. It has a couple of "fart" and "poop" jokes which are entirely appropriate to a book about food and nutrition, and allows a kid to hear a little "naughty" joke, but the clean kind of naughtiness that a kid can laugh at, instead of the "dirty" jokes that they are probably being exposed to.

Haduch rules!
As a kid who likes science and math, I think Haduch rules! I have read several of Mr. Haduch's science books and they are always funny and full of good information. I even used his book on tornadoes for a school project (and got an "A".)The food book is very funny while telling you about science and how your body uses food. I hope he does a book on dinosaurs.

Science and nutrition made fun for kids.
Now maybe kids will eat what's good for them! This book is one of the rare kids' books that addresses kids as people to be talked to and entertained....not to be talked down to or preached at. As a mom who has kids interested in science....and off-the-wall humor...I appreciate a book that combines both. Thanks!

child loves it!
My daughter LOVES this book. We found it at the library and she was able to read it by herself. When we moved cross country she searched it out at the library and now has monopolized it. I now have to buy this book so she can have it FOREVER! What is even greater is that she sees "no color" with this book as we all should!

Groan
Boy, Katy Hall was not kidding when she called the sports jokes in this 32-page book really really bad.

The good news, though, is that kids of a certain age love them.

A few samples: "What do you call a 250-pound football player whose helmet is too tight?

"Call him anything you want, he can't hear you!"

What football team do ants root for? The Giants"

"When does King Kong play baseball? In Aperil"

"What's the hardest thing about learning to ride a horse? The ground"

Each joke comes accompanied by a cute albeit tiny illustration.

There are more than 60 jokes in this book, a total higher than most parents could stand in one evening. But when a child wants to read, one has to learn to groan and bear it. Alyssa A. Lappen

not that funny
I found this collection of one page comics only slightly humorous. A lot of the "canine pranks" seem to be repeated throughout the book. Basically I was disappointed.

too funny dog pranks
This was a surprisingly funny little comic book; Dogs doing outrageous pranks to their humans! Thats all. 107 pages of giggles.
