Great book. very well written. great values to learn and of course romance! this is one of the best books that i have read. I recomend it to every one who likes a good book and fresh clean romance! awsome book read it! Mrs. Stahl is a fantastic author.

This book was great. It was very well written. You can picture the story scenes in your mind.

This book is about a pre-teen named Chelsea who had to move away from her home. She missed the best friend she had at her old home so she started calling her friend a lot! Discover how Chelsea and her new friends recover from the terrible mess she has made for herself. This book is sure to delight any pre-teenager. It is well written. It teaches great moral & about a Christian family. However, it is not a preachy style book so your child will devour it.

This book was delightful! It told about the real sadness of moving away. It showed how the girl felt. It's realistic too because people do feel guilty like that some times.

I hated reading growing up but when I was confined to my bed in forth grade, my mother bought me the entire sereies. I developed a love for reading and sometimes would stay up half the night just to read "one more chapter". This series is great. It taught me about loving others and other great lessons from the BIble. I have these books on my shelf just waiting for my daughter to read when she is old enough.

I first read this book, as well as the whole series, back when I was a kid in the 80s. I would highly recomend this book/series for any preteen girl. There is a good mix of suspence along with Biblical principals. This book is a good reminder that God loves everyone, even the kids that no one wants. They are not beyond His care. It also shows the power of prayer and the fact that nothing is impossible for God. This is an excellent book/series.

This is a wonderful book. In the book, Roxie is going to enter in a red rose painting contest and so is her friend. When her friend asked Roxie to teach her to paint a rose, Roxie is reluctant at first, but decides to help. Through the final days before the deadline of the contest, Roxie's older sister keeps getting red roses from an anonymous boy. Roxie finds out that the anonymous boy is her friend's older brother, who she has a crush on! The girl that Roxie is teaching to paint roses has gotten better than Roxie and Roxie knows it. Will Roxie win the contest even though her friend is better? Will she get her friend's older brother to pay more attention to her than her sister? This book was excellent! I loved every bit of it and didn't want to put it down from page 1. The struggles of all the women of catawba were so interesting and wonderful to read. Right after finishing it, I picked up the sequel so I could keep reading into the Marston's life. If you see this book, please buy it and the sequel because they are worth every penny!!

When Taylor Craven is forced to leave England for the "New World", everything seems to go wrong. She's even forced to marry a man she doesn't love, but even then God is with her. It is an awesome story about love, faith, and acceptance.

It is a great book! I bought it back in 1992 and since then I have looked for the rest of the series. I could never find them!! Until I tried Amazon, and then I found them!! I haven't received them yet but, I can't wait!!!

Before reading this book, you will want to read Chelsea and the Outrageous Phone Bill (Best Friends No. 1). It is a terrific book. This book is #2 in a series of 12. The boning knife was a really intriging mystery full of terror and suspense. I love the way the author has completely different scenes in some chapters. She leaves little hints in some chapters to tell you it is all the same story.

i loved this book! this was the first one in the series that i had read and it was a little hard to follow at times but not bad. after i read this and liked it so much i bought the other two and read them and they were excellent, too. i would recomend this to anyone who likes a good christian read. Great job Mrs. Stahl!
